Actually I blame President Reagan as the first of the modern massive over spenders. Things have gone on pretty much unchecked since then.

 

I don't blame Bush. Bush was just taking orders from Cheney.

Woodrow Wilson deserves tops honors in the blame game.

 

There has been many...going back to the Wilson era, that share in the blame. However, Obama is the man behind the big desk now and he should own it. Not to mention the massive difference in intensity between Obama and the men who came before him.

I am wanting the man who stole $100 from me 15 years ago to be held accountable. However, I really want the man who stole $10,000 from me last year to be held accountable.

I'm not even 60 years old and I have the same refrain over and over before.

 

I remember the rallying cry of the IFB's in the late 1970's- "America, you're too young to die."

Forty years later "She" is still around.

 

And have you ignored the warnings? The possibility of it happening has been growing steadily over your 60 years of life, and has increased dramatically in the last 6 years. Many people recognize the road we are on for what it is.

 

In 1976 I heard - 'This country will never make it till 1980.'

In 1968, when I was just a kid, I was scared to death when I heard adults say 'We'll never make it to the 70s.'

Does anyone really think 2012 is worse than 1968 for America?

Unless the Lord returns the US will be here in 2016. Mark it down.

 

I have been around since before the Roosevelt Depression {That is Franklin Delano.} and I have never seen so much pessimism. Pharaoh Obama inspires only his leftist cohorts!

It takes a long time for one to see Alzemier's progression in given individuals ---- and if I had my say---I would say that the nation(as a whole) is suffering from Alzemier's------we have no idea where we've been---we have no idea where we are NOW----and we have no idea where we'll be tomorrow!!

Unless God brings all of this to a close, we'll still be a nation in 2016.

The question is will any of the "republic" remain? We still have a few tatters of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Will those few tatters be sent through the socialist shredder before Janurary 1, 2017?

That is a valid question. By 2017 the US will be nearing a century of socialism.

 

You're right and that is what I meant. We may still exist as an entity with the same name but ideologically and practically speaking what was the US will no longer exist.
