Is there an inherent right to work without being forced to join a union?

Should be the law of the land.

One of the major problem with unions is that they have become a political action committee for the democrat party; and they are using union dues illegally to do so! Unions have, at least in my lifetime, generally supported the democrats but they have so much money now as well as "volunteers" to work for the democrats.

I am not anti union. I was raised in coal country and saw what unions did for the miners. My father was a local UMW official during the 1930's. He was a strong supporter of the Taft-Hartley Law and, like all our family, was a strong Republican.

Wrong question. The real question is can Unions monopolize an entire single industry to the point that can force people to pay union dues in order to work in that industry.

I will not, will not, defend to the death your right to disagree but, having the right to disagree, you also have the right to be wrong!
