    Won't help. The first modern gun control laws in this country were passed to disarm blacks who got tired of corrupt police beating and even shooting them for being on the wrong side of town.

    Google "Deacons for Defense" and "Black Panther Party for Self-Defense."

    There is a liberal movement focusing on the news media to repeal the 2nd amendment on the basis that there were no automatic and semi-automatic weapons when the founding fathers were compiling our legal documents providing us with a legal means of defense.


    The fallacy of that kind of a movement is that the Bill of Rights doesn't mention the kind of weapons because the presumption was that the weapons of the citizenry should be sufficient to defend against all enemies foreign or domestic and their weaponry.
