    Is this guy attempting to say that US Citizens armed with firearms could be a bulk work for a heavily armed & trained Military? The Russian military at that time would not measure up to the arms we have today. Then maybe you could have withstood a half arsed mounted attack (for a while) but today!?!

    Maybe, but I think he is saying what others often say. That the 2nd ammendment was put there to deter government from turning tyrannical to its citizenry, or words to that effect.

    The likelihood of victory is really not the point. The point is the right to maintain the ability to at least fight the fight. "shall not be infringed" is a key part of that right and its been ignored and twisted to make some people feel good.


    The people should never have to fear their government. The government had better fear their people.

    In case there was ever any doubt, I am solidly in the live free or die crowd.

    Take a hard look at history and see what impact these policies have on the Church and its ability to do its mission.

    Yes. Army. I was with the 82nd ABN Div and 1 ID.
