There are 7 myths that even Conservatives have bought into.

The complete list is at source. This is #7:

    Myth # 7: King wasn’t a plagiarist.

I guess hating Obama isn't enough for some people.

Nobody hates obama, actually, I feel sorry for wicked people because they are so blinded to truth. But I do hate what obama has done and is doing to this country.

But think what you want to think. How about exploring some facts about MLK and arguing from a factual basis instead of emotional? Your comment is a typical debate response from the left---when the facts are indefensible, attack your opponent.

But what was the Church giving as the alternative to the wickedness that was coming out of the Obama administration? A man cloaked in more wickedness.

I'm a firm believer that as the Church is raptured and all those indwellings of the Holy Spirit are removed, the Anti-Christ will no longer have the Restrainer in the way and can step into power.

Likewise, as the Body of Christ continues to sin, unrepentantly, the restraining power of the Holy Spirit to ward off wickedness is shackled because of our defiance and equally wicked ways that we try to disguise as Godliness.

The Church needs to be looking at the Church not at Obama.

There is no doubt that King had ethical and moral problems. Nevertheless had it not been for his nonviolent approach to the civil rights struggle the country would have eventually faced a race war.

I agree with several things that the article is critical of, this for example

He also had a point that the Declaration and Constitution did not apply to blacks because of the influence of slave owners in their development and writing.

He also had a proper view of the Vietnam war

Apologies, I really meant to 'leave it at that' but there was just too much say. :)

There are many who believe that the enlisted soldiers and draft was disproportionally black-----which wasn't so!!

MLK was also pro-abortion and proudly accepted the Margaret Sanger award. Of course, some of us here know that Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, got some of her ideas about eugenics from Adoph Hitler.

A myth that was perpetuated by MLK and eagerly bought by people that don't check the facts.

I just want to see if Roger bought into it as well, since he always saying he checks his sources. It looks like he didn't check this one..

I am pretty sure that Sanger's writings on eugenics predate Hitler. I think she wrote a book about 1920 or so. Had Hitler developed his theories and were they well know that early?

Don't believe I said it was a perfect view. The gist of his view on the war is a proper one.

You are right, that makes it worse - Margaret Sanger INSPIRED Adolf Hitler....

And back to MLK, here is his acceptance speech for the acceptance of the Margaret Sanger award - he knew full well and endorsed abortion of blacks. Planned Parenthood has the whole thing proudly listed on their web site in his honor.

    From PP web site:

Quite an eloquent essay approving & endorsing black genocide, is it not?

    You're quibbling.

You did say you agreed that it was a racist war.

You don't care if it's true, Mr Factchecker?

Looks like a case of the emperor having no clothes.

Au Contraire. More to say, but I'll leave it at that.
