I am getting fed up with every group that has to be a hyphenated - American

    ie - Black-American; Irish - American; Asian-American, Homosexual-American; Jewish-American, Disabled-Americian.....

Since my ancestry is from several European Countries - from now on, I am proud to be called a Mutt-American!!

Knowing where you come from is one thing.

Not knowing who you are now is another.

That seems to be the problem. I don't believe in, nor appreciate, hyphenated Americans either.

I am a Southern-Highland-Ridge Running-WASP-American! Only the Good Lord knows all the blood-lines that flow in my veins. The ones I know of are Welsh, English, French, Austrian, Scottish and Indian [Native-American]. I am not sure how to fit in, in the hyphenations, of my ancestors from Iowa, Montana, Oregon and Washington State --- perhaps pioneering.

I would say that officially qualifies you to be a Mutt-American!

NO! NO! Salty! Mutt-American is unique. That means only one. CTB will just have to be content to remain a convert to Yankee.

Anyhow you tried to remove the stigma and you may, I say may, receive a star in your crown. Course I am not a big believers in stars in crowns. That is the reason I say "may"!
