After reading the OP's on who is at fault for the sinner going to hell? I couldn't help but wonder what the thoughts are about those church folks who came to love the Lord through things like catechism, church membership, etc.?

A lot of churches don't practice the theory of being born-again. There are those in my family who simply took classes and were made members of their respective churches, and they believe they are going to heaven because of their membership, service, giving, etc.

Will God hold the leaders of these denominations guilty for these lives, if in fact, they are lost? Is the blood of those multitudes on their hands?

How about the cult churches? The Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, etc.? These are well meaning folks; many were introduced to these denominations at birth and know nothing else but their indoctrination. Will God spare those who were misled throughout his or her life?

What will God do with those "well-meaning" folks, mislead by denominational doctrines that did everything but teach and insist that a believer be born-again and follow Jesus in water baptism?

Anyone who is not born again goes to hell and they are without excuse.

I have no knowledge from Scripture that could be used to even guess a percentage. Jesus did say that the way was narrow and few would find it while broad is the path that leads to destruction. So....I could safely say the vast majority of mankind is going to Hell.

    Nice.
It's why we shouldn't waste time making people feel comfy with their pet sins.

My wisdom pails in comparison to God's and He chose to save His elect. I don't fully understand that but I trust Him. Who am I to claim, even if only by implication, that He did something wrong or unwise? So...no.

BTW..I don't play the "just yes or no" game. It does not foster discussion, and really is only useful if you want to breed misunderstanding.

And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal 3:29
Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, [so many] as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.Heb 11:12

Would you care to compare the numbers in both posts?

mmm lack of LOVE i do beileve :)

And God saving the elect i totally agree with--but that was the ones he chose at the time he chose to save them--election is not wrong--but states God chooses the time and number he will save :)Now Can not God have Chosen(Elected) through 1 man (Christ) to purchase the redemtion of all mankind--and bring them ALL in at a later time ?still election to me :)

God is awesome, isn't He? He is saving so many people that they cannot be numbered....and yet, they are few in comparison to those who are going to Hell.

Saying God's plan lacks love is a gutsy move. So is the mental gymnastics you are attempting with defining and applying election in the context of all of Scripture.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

i said your no answer in that YOU would not save all if you could was a lack of love :)becuase i sure would--because im just a sinner like all mankind-and a man that knows to do Good in that way--dont you think God who is all powerful and is LOVE would not do the same thing :)

It's the height of arrogance to claim you can improve on God's plan. It is just as bad to ignore and twist His Word to support your idea of the perfect plan.

Haven't you had enough people show you how you are wrong in your "hell" thread?

Universal salvation and hell being temporary are heresies that were debunked long ago. You ignore this and you play games instead of having an honest dialogue. I'm done playing. I pray you realize the truth before its too late.
