I figured I would start off with a bang. We have a few churches with non pastor leader. We have a ton of non denominational church with pastors that have at least been to seminary. My experience is these churches are like Free Will Baptist on steroids. But staying non denominational keeps them out of the Southern Baptist Convention. I just wonder why they don't go with Free Will Baptist and join with the benefits.

What are the benefits when your church belongs to .....what you said? I am not a Baptist so this is very alien to me.

I was led to the Baptist church I go to. Joining the Southern Baptist Convention has a lot of benefits and so does the Moriarty Association. i am not knocking the churches just was wondering why they are not joining. They fit with Free Will Baptist as far as denominational go. Around here every church used to have a certain denomination. Now the non denominational are close in numbers to the number of Baptist churches here.
