Democrats. Could there be anything worse for a nation?

People will remember his taking a swig from the bottle long after they have forgotten what he said or was talking about.

Wonder why most of the media did not go to their archives and show photos of Dems (Obama and Clinton- I think) drinking while giving a speech. Saw it on Hanity last night.

I thought also I would mention, a couple years ago, I preached at a IBF church - pastor was upset when I took a bottle of water to the pulpit when I preached

If memory serves me correctly Rubio stopped in the middle of a speech at the Republican Convention to take a drink of water.

I am not sure why this was played up, except he paused in the middle of making a point. It interrupted the flow of his argument ... which IMHO is a no, no thing to do. Stop to take a drink after the point is made. This gives people time to think about the point just made.

The emphasis on this shows how the lame street media is set against any response to the President. Don't look at the idea that we can fund many new programs, just emphasize that it won't cost a dime. And the President is telling the truth. It won't cost A dime, but billions of dimes.

I believe you are pointing the wrong way. It went viral on social media on the Internet. Main street media would not have picked up on it except for the social media explosion.

It does show how silly and nit-picking we humans have become.

Of course, you think I am pointing the wrong way. I am pointing at the President for his deviousness, not who you leftists want me to point at.

Thanks for the link to Rachel Maddow. I'd never heard of her. I gave up on commercial TV news several years ago. I did find her comments quite amusing and can see why Republicans might not appreciate them....seems rather truthful. After all he criticized Obama for saying things that he, Obama, did not say.

Did Rubio really write his speech before Obama gave his and just did't bother to adjust his reply to the speech just given. Also, if I were giving a speech I don't believe I would use the same words that a just defeated presidential candidate used in his failed campaign. It makes people think the GOP still does not understand and still has no new message.

And, to vote against the "Violence Against Women" act surely will not win him or the GOP any new votes from the women of the country.

And, it does seem rather less than honest to brag about the "neighborhood I live in" while putting his house up for sale so he can move away from that neighborhood.

Mark Russell was so right. He, Mark Russell, always said he did not need writers to give him material for his satire ... the political "give me more than I can use". Whatever happened to Mark Russell?

Obama said "Its not a bigger govt we need? And 16 billion dollars in debt is not a sign of big govt?

Was Rubio actually against the VAWA or was he against some of the provisions in the bill?

According to this site, his house was not far from average.

Thanks to the economic disaster Bush left for Obama to clean up. Also Obama can only spend money approved by Congress. The GOP controls the House.

The bottom line is he voted against it ... not pleasing to a large majority of women in the country.

That is not my point. My point is he bragged about living in a middle class neighborhood that he is trying to move away from. That was a topic he should have been silent on IMHO.

Maybe I am out of touch but $600,000 seems above middle class to me. But then I think a can of soft drink should be ten cents or less. It was only five cents for a bottle when I was a kid ... no metal cans back them.

What this country needs is a good five cent cup of coffee!

all three of these must be taken in context.

    Has Obama increased Govt
Obam said he would cut the budget - he did not
and did he need congressional approval to name how many Czars?

Did you read why Rubio voted agains the VAWA?

House price - a 600,000 house in NM, is probally a lot of house - but in Miami - well - its pertty middle class.

Again, you miss my point. The bottom line is he voted against VAWA. That is what women will remember.

Because Rubio took a step and reached off camera to get his drink of water. And he had the look of desperation on his face.

    BTW, I like Rubio.

Notice that people are talking about the swig of water far more than they are talking about Obama's speech of giveaway programs.

We have endured a narcissistic clone, a hater of the unborn, as president for four years, idolized by the leftists on and off this Forum, and we are condemned to four more years of hell on earth under this Obama. Now these idolators have joy in their shriveled hearts because they think taking a drink of water is going to sink Marco Rubio. Only in their Obama induced dreams!

Hey it only took 14 posts for our resident left winger to blame it on Bush. Nothing any republican especially a conservative republican will please or satisfy the left wing.

Apparently he thinks women are so dumb that they won't investigate anything about the Presidential candidate.
