The only thing one can conclude is that you must want another Democrat victory in 2016. At least put someone with common sense at the head of the ticket.

Put a conservative who isn't a part of the "Republican Washington Establishment" at the head of the ticket. Two rounds of those is enough already!

Based on the last election cycle, rest assured that won't be the case, unless __________ (fill in the blank).

Whoever that may arise that isn't part of the inner circle will be targeted and picked off. One by one, just as they were prior to 2012. By the time I had a turn with a primary ballot, I already knew who would be at the top of the ticket in November. Watched the other potential candidates fall, one after the other before the NC primary.

Also, lets not drop the ball for 2014 by looking too far ahead, too quickly for 2016. IMO, drop the ball in 2014, and won't matter very much who's on the ticket for 2016. If, there is a 2016. -- Never let a good crisis go to waste.

Headline: Elections postponed due to the current crisis..................

Yep, I'm doing some speculating and musing this morn. That's the priviledge of us old foggies.

    Allan West-Sarah Palin for me.
    or Allan West-Marco Rubio.
I'll vote again if that is the ticket.
Otherwise I'll stay home and just enjoy the show.

As to Palin on the ticket, I agree. Her name on the ballot would guarantee another Democratic term in the White House.

I'd like to see one with Paul Ryan or, though I hope he continues as governor, Scott Walker.

Sounds good to me. I hope you are correct in your assessment.

Nope. I would like to see Rand Paul/Nikki Haley...Rubio is not horrible, but he is a little too neo-con for my taste. We need a way to pull in the large libertarian leaning block that sat out or voted 3rd party last election. Rand has a stellar record of not compromising, and is not as extreme as his dad. He is supported by both sides of the Republican party, and is a Tea Party/Grass roots favorite.

Not really. I don't blame those who want to come here illegally or not. If I lived in some of those countries I would try to get out myself. I blame the people who hire them and the sorry politicians who will not enforce the laws.

I do blame the immigrants for not wanting to learn English!

We need a "sticky" with a good definition of neo-con. I believe "neo" means "new", “recent,” “revived,” “modified,”. "Con" is short for many things like "convict", "Conservative", deceive as in con someone, etc., etc., etc..

Wonder when churches are going to use neo-worship instead of contemporary-worship?

Yes, he seems like a very nice guy and more down to earth than his dad! I suppose that you can say that by then he will have had 4 years experience.

As for Nikki Haley, she is quite good! Maybe she should head the ticket?

And know what that does? You must be bilingual to get a local job....in my neck of the woods anyways. Walmart posts BOTH Spanish and English to accommodate it.

No Palin, please for the love of country no Palin!

No one jumps to mind right now. Neo-cons need not apply that goes double for corporate shills and let the let the government fix it for you crowd. Prefer a libertarian leaning individual. Gary Johnson has my interest right now

Currently I would find the idea of Ben Carson on 3rd party ticket intriguing, but I don’t even want to think about 2014 err 2016 elections yet!
