    Is this why Sharron Angle won with an overwhelming majority of the vote in 2010 along with Christine O'Donnell? Is this why Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock are currently in the US Senate?

    General, Richard Mourdock did it to himself. It is a long jump from the obscurity of being State Treasurer to being US Senator, but we did get rid of Richard Lugar, who forgot that he had been a Republican. If Mourdock had kept quiet, he would have won. He was a guy who just couldn't stand prosperity. The GOP took everything else in Indiana except for the usual suspects who always go Democrat--parts of southern Indiana like Evansville and Terre Haute and the university city of Bloomington, Gary and the surrounding Calumet area, and the dying city of South Bend, and Marion County or Indianapolis.
