In America truth is offensive. If you tell the truth, you are offensive.

I am offensive. Michael Hudson is offensive. Gerald Celente is offensive. Herman Daly is offensive. Nomi Prins is offensive. Pam Martens is offensive. Chris Hedges is offensive. Chris Floyd is offensive. John Pilger is offensive. Norm Chomsky is offensive. Harvey Silverglate is offensive. Naomi Wolf is offensive. Stephen Lendman is offensive. David Ray Griffin is offensive. Ellen Brown is offensive.

Fortunately, many others are offensive. But how long before being offensive becomes being “an enemy of the state”?

Throughout history truth tellers have suffered and court historians have prospered. It is the same today. Gerald Celente illustrates this brilliantly in the next issue of the Trends Journal.

Where is the good to rise up against the evil?

    CONTINUE . . .

They sure enough ain't here Paul. The people here are too busy calling good evil and evil good. Truth is far from them. And yes Salty I know this was all foretold in the bible long ago. I just never thought that Christians would be the biggest defenders of the evil. Boy howdy I know better now!

Everyone knows that people are offended when they are told that they are lost in sin and bound for hell. One of our local rabbis here Dennis Sasso wants to put Fundamentalists and Evangelicals in jail for hate crimes for saying that modernday Jews are going to hell if they don't become Christians.

So truth is difficult to take--no debate, Poncho.

But that is not the reason for the troubles of Bradley Manning and Wikileaks. You cannot enforce the law by breaking another law. I have no sympathy for him. Julian Assange should also be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I also thought that Daniel Ellsberg (who released the Pentagon Papers) should have been prosecuted.

To compare people of this type to the Hungarian Freedom Fighters of 1956 is extremely inappropriate and distasteful to say the very least.

As for Ecuador's involvement in shielding Assange in London, let me say that this is no surprise in that Ecuadoran Presidnet Rafael Correa has been a friend of Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Evo Morales, and Daniel Ortega. Assange is merely roosting with birds of his feather--reds.

So you prefer to protect the real criminals and prosecute those brave enough to expose their many crimes. Tell me something I didn't know already.

No, I think that Daniel Ellsberg was a real criminal. And I think that Julian Assange is a real criminal. And Assange is hiding with the Hugo Chavez crowd so I think we know what kind of person he is.

    That is true

Most of those names are true except yours.

It depends on which state you are referring to. There are about 183 of them.

That is also a true statement.

    Not in your posts.

    CONTINUE . . .

Much of what you say is true, except your posts do nothing but create strawmen, smoke and mirrors are the last source I would use for truth. You have never given one ounce of your effort or time to accomplish your lofty goals, except to cut down others who disagree with you. You would not know the price of freedom, liberty, the Constitution if it bit you on the nose.
