Have you ever wondered why Jesus took the terrible beating and then went to the cross and sacrificed his life for you? Do you ever ask yourself, "Why did Jesus do this for me?"

Well, I think this old Andre Crouch song says it so well. In fact, once you get this song into your head, I think you will never ask that question again, because there is something about this tune and the words that hooked me forever.

When Satan tries to tell me that I'm not worthy, this song always seems to pop into my head, and I can barely contain my laughter as I look back at the devil and shake my head at the devil for trying to tell me different!

    Have a very blessed day....

I know exactly why Jesus loves me. He's God of love. But at the same time, God of wrath, vengence, righteousness, patience, mercy, grace......

He made us because He loves us, yet at the same time, when one of His creation dies lost, He casts them into hell, to be later cast into the lake of fire.

I agree with you, Brother Paul, that I can't understand truly why He would give His life for someone so unworthy as I, but I am sure glad He did.... :jesus: :godisgood:

I remember when I was lost and really wasn't interested but then, the Lord dealt with me and I accepted. My question has always been, why does one accept and the next one reject?

I spoke this weekend with a relative who has one foot in the grave and he quickly told me that God is but in the mind of some..., "another man's opinion" and without proof he simply isn't concerned.

I guess however that with all the miracles Jesus provided to the people in His day as proof, the "religious" crowd still rejected Him. There can't be any better proof than what our Lord has already shown us.

Thank you Lord for calling me! :godisgood:
