A very interesting read. It is a good ways away and anything can happen. One thing that I do hope for is a defeat of Mitch McConnell in the Republican Primary.

I can tell you that they're wrong about Michele Bachmann retaining her seat in Minnesota. In 2012s he was challenged for the party's endorsement and barely won, winning by the lowest margin for any sitting candidate in 50 years.

After the 2010 census her district was redrawn which gave her a good chunk of a WASP, suburban county, favoring her.

Her opponent in the general election, Jim Graves, a local hotelier tycoon, ran a good campaign despite the fact that the national Democratic party abandoned him thinking Bachmann was a lock. Bachmann's race was the 2nd most expensive race in the U.S. House in 2012. She outspent Graves 10-1. Her ads were almost all attack ads, the worst of the worst.

    Results:
    Bachmann 50.5%
    Graves 49.3%

Graves just announced this week that he's running again in 2014. I say she's toast.

Sure. I agree with her votes in Congress probably 95% of the time but Minnesotans are just sick and tired of her self-promotion and grandstanding coupled with the lack of any accomplishments.

Yes, if I get to pick out the hat.

Is that an abbreviation for a Calvinist hat?

I was chosen to be in the First Cavalry Division. In fact, when I was still in Germany, I even tried to change my orders to the III Corps - but whether I wanted it or not I ended up in the CAV!!!
