You ask more questions than a normal person would. But the trouble is you don't answer plain questions despite their clarity. You need to answer more than ask.

Nevertheless,I will resond to the header. The NRSV is the best of the three. It has slightly better English than the ESV. D.A. Carson who most consider a prominent and conservative New Testament scholar/author/preacher calls the NRSV "a jolly good translation."

You have not answered my direct questions even once. You are not a believer in forthrightness.

I have answered them, by pointing out to you that I am NOT the only one that has concerns with the 2011 Niv edition, many others have hd them also! incuding here on the BB!

I am NOT anti niv, do appreciate the 1984 edition, should have stayed with that one!

NRSV probably does the best job, especially in the Old Testament, though none are without their problems

All of the translations have problems it seems. I too favor the 1984 NIV, and the 2003 or 2007 ESV. No experience with the NRSV as of yet. I generally read the KJV (Cambridge New Paragraph) for daily reading and consult the NASB, NKJV and/or the ESV for my own clarification.
