I do admit somewhat of a tautology in the phrase.

I think the Bible uses figurative phrases which can be misinterpreted as presenting a non-spherical earth. "Ends of the earth" and "four corners of the earth" leap to mind, i.e. Luke 11:31 and Revelation 7:1. The issue is not that modern godless men created the myth to bash Christianity, but whether, when church and state were not separated, God fearing men used the power of government to suppress differing understandings of scripture.

Today, godless men use government to suppress Christianity, i.e. disavowing the use of the name of Jesus in public school public address prayers.

So when you think about it, the government leaders today are doing what they claimed the flat earthers did, i.e. pushing their own belief system using the power of government.

According to Hezekiah 14:92, we are told the Earth IS flat, and anyone who denies this fact is a heretic

Your reference to Hezekiah 14:92 (as per the inspired 1611 KJV) seems to state that RCC Columbus proved that the world is flat and fell off its edge in that year (1492)!

Claims to the counter are all false! :tongue3:

I thought it was found in First and Second Egyptians. The passage in Elijah 42:7 comes to mind: "Seek ye that which is not there."

II James 43:16 says, "Be not thou observing the unobservable, neither look for it hereafter."

Phillistines 2:9 says "And he departed thence, and sought for what was not, and they tarried many days, awaiting his return, but since he came not again, they remain abiding yet, even unto this day."
