You have to be kidding me Salty. You really think this piece on the Huff and Puff is accurate in saying the IRS has the right to beat up Tea Party supporters? Man you really do believe in Saul Alinski and Obama in their demonization of any opposition. Do you remember who Alinski praised in his book Rules for Radicals?

The real question is why does any political group have tax-free status.

Sola, the IRS has targeted various groups as long as I can remember. There is nothing new about that. I am not saying this is right, it just happens. If they were charged with targeting a radical Islamic group you and others would be cheering.

It's all a big conspiracy theory the IRS loves us. There's no such thing as "tyranny" Obama even said so himself.

You jest--are you trying to make me believe that the Democrat Party should pay taxes?

The IRS apparently held up the applications of over 400 groups for 27 months and from all news reports asked for personal information not asked of anyone else. The IRS was asking for lists of donors. It is said that Hispanic groups were also delayed and Obama was forced to open a criminal investigation.

This is a question of American inalienable rights endowed by the Creator.

Fox News Latino has a report on the Hispanics:

Because the less taxes anyone pays the less government. The less government the more freedom of the people. The more freedom of the people the more we retain the founding of this country and the less tools liberals have to ruin this country.

I find it funny that the excuse yesterday and this morning was that all this harassment was a result of "downsizing and poor management."

HA! It has nothing to do with bias, or hate or the fact that they are drunk with power...nope. It is somebody else's fault.

"Gee, if I'd had more supervision, I would have known that all these Soviet-era questionnaires were wrong."

    I'm NOT buying it!!!!

The IRS folks need to be honorable and say "we've had a few apples and they'll be held accountable." But to engage in excuse making is beneath human dignity.

The IRS should be abolished right along with the federal reserve. The private international banking cartel known as the federal reserve is a mafia style loan sharking business with the IRS acting as the enforcers that go around breaking legs and confiscating everyone's wealth for their crooked bosses.

Absolutely! They like using the IRS because they can confiscate without any kind of court oversight or approval.

Why do you suppose we have a group of private international bankers running our economy Tom?

The Biblical answer is the correct one: People are sinners and their consuming sin since Satan's sin in heaven is to take the place of God in the lives of people. They (and all humanity) believe they ought to be able to set up right and wrong for themselves and others. As they grow in their arrogance and sinfulness, they want to impose their view of right and wrong on the rest of people.

If Congress were to set up a court system which does not report to the IRS - would that be more acceptable?

You asked why I thought it was happening. My answer was that man's sin.

I agree that citizens of the US ought to insist that not just congress, but the executive and the judicial branches, follow the constitution. That ought to be done no matter what. But it will not take care of the root cause which is sin. Only the Gospel will deal with that root cause.
