Prayers for the victim's family and friends. Please also pray that there'll be no further killings including copycat or revenge attacks.

Ah yes. Another surprise from the "religion of peace."

If you watch that video where the guy explains why they did this, he says in a COCKNEY ACCENT about the atrocities in "his" country! Dude obviously grew up in England!

We're just going to see more and more lone wolf terrorism. Sad.

Couldn't watch the video because it was removed. Why didn't those witnessing this event do something to stop it?

I was appalled that this took place, in public and the murderous thugs were obviously intent on either dying or getting to grandstand in the courtroom.

No doubt the UK government will use this to increase it's own power over british peasants. "Never let a crisis go to waste".

Oops the UK government is already calling for increased police state powers. That didn't long.

It emerged today that MI5, which has long lobbied for the legalization of mass communication monitoring, were aware of the suspected attackers. Sources said reports the men had featured in “several investigations” in recent years – but were not deemed to be planning an attack – “were not inaccurate” BBC News reported.

It was also confirmed that one of the suspects was intercepted by police last year while leaving the country.

    Drummer Lee Rigby, RIP

The murdered man's name and rank is: Drummer Lee Rigby, 2nd Batt. Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

Rigby was a member of the RRF's Corps of Drums and when deployed a machine gunner in the Fire Support Section.

It's a shame the UK government and media is using his death to stir up more hatred and to take away even more civil liberties from the people over there. But you "never want to let a crisis go to waste".

Could it be that it is illegal to carry a gun in England. Maybe if a gun toting patriot was nearby it would have ended differently. We'll never know.

Regretfully, even under the best of circumstances (yeah, right like Westminister is going to allow concealed carry), the late Gunner Rigby was Other Ranks (in AmEng not an Officer or NCO). As an OR he would not have been authorized a sidearm (pistol).

Indeed. Eyewitness accounts state that they thought initially that the two assailants were trying the revive the guys; only when it was too late did they realise he was being attacked by them. When they did that, several women very bravely remonstrated with the attackers and stood guard over his dying body.

Do the good guys have guns in the UK? The scene on the video appeared to be a pathetic view of apathy--almost surreal.

    Peace,

I didn't see any apathy - several very brave women confronted the killers and one of them prayed for the victim as he lay dying.

Only some members of the police force carry guns (two of whom shot and disabled the killers). Long may that continue.

Not very PC I know, BUT, I think all law enforcement should be armed with ammo that has been dipped in pig fat/blood!

Lessens the chance that some "72 VIRGIN" seeking jihadist would be willing to take the chance of eternal exclusion.

(Seems to me that the armed forces should also be so equipped!)

I am surprised that you have not found a article from info wars saying that this was a staged killing created by the Military Industrial Complex.

There isn't any to find. Evidently these guys were just a couple idiots that decided to murder someone. Of course the UK government decided to use this incident as an excuse to call for even more reductions in Matt's liberties. They want to make it legal to read all Matt's emails and listen to his phone calls without his knowledge or probable cause. Not they haven't been doing it all along. But now they want to make it legal.

I'm pretty sure Matt is okay with all that though. He feels safe being disarmed and spied on by his own government. Nevermind David Cameron wants to send the extremists these two murderers identify themselves with more of Matt's money and more weapons to kill people with.

    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=86425

It's all about feeling safe and battling against Islam. Right Matt?

And besides Rev there were no "terror drills" that mirrored this event like there is in staged events like the 7/7 tube bombings or 9/11. In the case of the tube bombings the terror drill going on that day not only mirrored the event exactly it was in the exact same locations. I know coincidence. Someone sat down and figured the odds of that at 1 in a number with 47 zeros behind it.

These 'lone wolves' are becoming more and more brazen. They are hitting soft targets and I don't think gun laws have made much difference. (Look at the Boston bombings and manhunt). I'm a gun owner myself, but these terrorists are hitting places where people are unawares and couldn't really defend themselves even if they had a gun. In the case of the British soldier, if I'm not mistaken, the guy was run down by their car...then butchered.

I think I read where another soldier in France has been stabbed in the throat, but I dunno yet who the villain is.

But I'm worried that these attacks are the new fad by these terrorists...lone wolves hitting soft targets. Most of these guys don't care if they die or not. So hitting soft targets is a way to create as much mayhem and terror as possible. If they liked, they could hit schools or church congregations. Most people don't have guns on them in those places anyway regardless of what the law says.
