We no longer have cable/satellite so I have not watched the new show. We used to watch his old show a few years back, seemed like a well meaning/sincere fellow, but still a bit rough around the edges (aren't we all to a degree). He did seem to really care about the folks he apprehended and wanted to see them get their lives straightened out. The other show was set in Hawaii for the most part, and one of the things that stuck out to naive me was that even "Paradise" has its seedy elements.

Regarding his line of work, its obviously a tough but necessary business. As far as watching a show about a bounty hunter though, I believe I'd still rather watch the fictitional Colt Seavers in re runs of The Fall Guy.
