    Good question. I doubt we will receive any answers to your question.

    He loved to visit the coffee houses in Prague and talk with others. At one time he lived in one of the tiny houses, it was his sisters house, in the Golden Lane. Now you have to buy a ticket to visit the Golden Lane.

    It did seem rather obvious. I agree with you.

    I wonder how many on the board have read: The Metamorphosis?
    Is this still required reading in college freshman English?

    Surely you jest!

    Kafka was one of the most influential writers in the 20th century and still has a strong influence, both on readers and writers.
