Question for the history & contemporary theology buffs:

Is there another major group of churches besideds baptists that has the same sort of debates within its own group on the Calvinism/Soteriology issue?

Here's what I have so far:

    Baptists: Mixed, or undecided
    Presbyterians: Calvinist
    Methodists, wesleyans, nazarenes: Arminian
    Lutheran & Episcopal: I don't know.
    Mennonite & Amish: Arminian
    Brethren: Arminian
    Grace Brethren: Calvinist

There are at least a couple of leaders in the Calvary Chapel movement that are Reformed, but for the most part they lean Arminian. Not sure they are having "maturity" issues over secondary or tertiary matters yet... maybe they won't.

Episcopal/Anglican are not only a mix on that but on many things. The Anglican Communion contains the following: Arminian, Reformed, Anglo-Catholic, Lutheran-influenced, Eastern Orthodox-influenced, and more.

The Evangelical Free Churches are certainly a mixed bag.

All good examples. Now, whether or not these other denominations have the vast array of disagreements Baptists (or at least us on this board) have, or whether or not inspire other boards of these denominations to call each other heretics, believers in a false gospel, in error, stupid, etc, I do not know. I am not even sure other Baptist forums use the names we use. I have never been on another one.
