The feds are looking into whether "Lady Justice" got it right. I've seen this happen before, and the Feds did what the courts couldn't do, find the party guilty!

So what are your thoughts on the FBI and the Feds now looking into this verdict and case as a "Civil rights violation?"

For whatever reason, I tried to attach a poll and the page never came up. So I reported the OP with a poll, so sorry.

Incorrect - the administration (not the govt) wants a political correct verdict

    Thanks Salty

....I figured it wouldn't be long before someone in the WH reared their ugly little head and said, "We want real justice!" :BangHead:

Salty is correct here-----the governmental courts found the fella----Not Guilty of all charges summoned

The administration on the other hand . . .

If it materializes----the standing administration is no better than and is as low down as the German Nazi administration of the 30's and 40's

The way the feds avoid double jeopardy is to bring up a civil rights charge of some type that the state did not use. It seems there was a similar case in California during the first Bush administration. California found the three (I believe) officers not guity, but the federal government got a conviction on denial of civil rights. Paul, maybe you remember the case and can speak to the similarities.

Time for Florida to act and file charges against Obama and Holder.

The measure for a civil rights violation is rather difficult to meet with the evidence available. I doubt that there is much, if any, case against Zimmerman for having violated the civil rights of Trayvon.

While there will probably be a civil case brought by Trayvon's parents, Zimmerman has probably already divested himself of any and all assets and that will only be an empty ruling.

The larger federal issue is challenging. The reality of double jeopardy should remove any chance of prosecution for what is in evidence. Thus, the civil rights portion would have to be about intentional racial acts by Zimmerman. It is hard to tell if there is any evidence for this kind of a prosecution.

Even though there is no case, the DOJ will try.

The slaves on the government plantation are becoming restless. Something must be done to appease them.

    Yes I do

It was the Tyisha Miller killing. A young black tenneagers, drunk - http://www.nytimes.com/1999/01/08/u...olice-was-legally-drunk.html?ref=tyishamiller - and some said high. She was unconscious and sitting in her car in a gas station parking lot, with a handgun in her lap. She was non responsive to the officers attempts to rouse her from her stupor, and then she made a move toward the gun, and the cops unloaded close to a 25 rounds.

    Here is the story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyisha_Miller

I always felt this story was fishy, and that the cops acted wrongly, but who knows. At least, all the cops were eventually fired, and their lives''s have been ruined.

My only question about the girl was why was she there, with a gun, drunk, and alone?! This was a strange case all the way! And a tragedy for everyone involved!

The cops haven't learned a thing. They still unload their weapons into suspects.

Being an employee of the State, we were on alert for more than a year, as tensions ran high. We never sent an Analyst into the black communities of Riverside alone!

So unnecessary, and so scary at the same time!

Nothing has changed since Rodney King, to OJ Simpson, to Tyisha Miller and now Trayvon. The black community as a whole, always cry foul when a verdict doesn;t go their way. The difference was, when OJ walked, the whites didn't march and threaten to riot, but there were threats of riots had OJ been found guilty. Rodney King's treatment resultd in riots.

The ck community doesn't remember the times they have seen justice for black victims or suspects. But, they don't let a verdict that goes against their color code, go away without a loud gasp of disgust! When will this end? Never, at least not in my days left on earth! :tear:

How is this deplorable? Are you offended that so many are slaves to the US government? They are slaves and the sad thing is that they don't even know it. Their handlers use racial emotionalism, wealth envy, and a government check to keep them down and ignorant. I told the truth and I will not apologize for it. :tonofbricks:

It doesn't matter what we do, the slaves will continue to complain and throw a tantrum when they don't get their way.
