So during the Benghazi attack Obama went to bed. Now we have closed all embassy's in the middle east because of a legitimate and imminent threat and Obama goes on vacation.

    Talk about a reckless President

And even worse he blames his opponents by claiming "Phony scandals".

On my way home from work today I saw several women on a overpass holding signs with "Impeach Obama"

    I agree:wavey:

Did we close any in the Philippines? Seriously, how is Al Kieda still allowed to operate there amongst our Asian friends?

no closures in the Philippines, as far as I know, reading the news there. As for Al-Qaeda, their closest ally, the Abu Sayyaf, has gone the way of most of the "revolutionaries" so-called, that is, they been reduced to just plain money-making, murdering, kidnappers using the name of their god to justify their "cause".

Didn't Obama say that Al Qaeda was "on the run". Now here are multiple embassies being evacuated and the employees being told to leave the countries. So who's on the run, Mr. President?

"On my way home from work today I saw several women on a overpass holding signs with "Impeach Obama""

Just finished this article in a small town NE paper. http://lexch.com/news/local/residen...cle_048059a6-fed4-11e2-8746-001a4bcf887a.html

I thought it of note that the report of the drone attacks were upon "suspected" terroists. He is not only Judge and Jury, but now he has dropped the judge and jury and kills people that are suspects!

approximately 7% of the current 85 (rounded to nearest million) million Filipinos are Muslims.
The main concentration is in the South/Southwest of the Philippines. They will be found in many towns and cities in the 3rd largest island which is Mindanao. In the Northwest of this island they have a large population of Muslims in Marawi City and from there spread thinly soutwards through the provinces of Misamis Oriental and Occidental, and then become heavy again when you get to the Zamboanga Peninsula, especially in the Zamboanga Sur areas and to the outlying islands of Basilan and across to the Jolo islands.
Most Muslim Filipinos are by and large secular and are Muslims because they were born into that religion, just like Roman Catholics.

They are also made of tribes and sub-tribes.
In Marawi City, the majority belong to the Maranao tribe.
These are by and large peaceful people who just want to make money, that is, they are businessmen and traders.

The next big tribe is the Tausug, which are concentrated in the Jolo Islands.
    These are the warlike tribes.
Though they are also businessmen by nature, they are fierce fighters, and the Abu Sayyaf has a large concentration of them.
    It also shows.
They kidnap for ransom (business) and kill (warlike).
    lol.

If I am not mistaken, there are at least 4 tribes in all.
The Maranao or Maranaw, the Taosug or Tausug, the Yakans (natives of Isabela province across Zamboanga City) and the Badjao (boat dwelling people found all over Mindanao).
I've seen where they listed 12 or 13 but the rest were what people in Mindanao called "Lumads", or natives.
    These are not Muslims.
These are animists, they worship the forests, the trees, their ancestors.

Because of the conflicts in their part of the country, many have moved to the cities like Cebu City and Manila (the capital).
There used to be a time when Muslims and non-Muslims (anybody who was not a Muslim was called Christian) got along well without one suspecting the other and all that jazz, but times, like "the Boss" said, "they are a-changing".

Now, pay me ten dollars for this crash course on Philippine history, I'll send you a bill.:wavey:
