There is no stress in my life. Guess that is why I have never had an uncivil post.

LOL, I knew it, I knew it. I figured it would be you or Dr. James that would zap me first. Anyway Rippon, laugh a little. In case you have not noticed, I have stopped the back and forth with both of you, so give me some credit.

Actually, I cannot be that hard on John Calvin anymore. It was really not fair to compare him to today's standards, whether or not the records of his we both battled over are true or not. I have no doubt John Calvin did what he thought was right for the day. I cannot why he was so correct about the sovereignty of God and so off the wall about other theological doctrines, like baptism. That is between him and the Lord. One million back and forth posts on BB is not going to change one thing about John Calvin.

Just be glad that we do not execute each other for disagreeing about Scripture. The Bb population would probably be about 99% less than it is now.

In all sincerity, I hope things are going well for you and your ministry.

Well, friend, Christian brother, you have put out some zingers as good as mine ever were. I thought of you the other day. My wife has some cousins coming to see us next week that we have not seen in forty years. They live in or near Lodi, NJ. Is that anywhere near you?

You have consistently lied about John Calvin and said heinous things about him. You have never acknowledged that you lied and that your conduct was abominable.

You disagree with him on baptism. On what other issues was he "off the wall" as you so quaintly put it?

Your exchanges were vile. And you have yet to confess that they were filled with slurs and slander.

I cannot in all honesty accept that from you. You have not done anything that would make me think that you even have a high regard for Scripture. I find it shameful that you hold a church office.

I feel sorry for you and have nothing else to say. Anyway, the best to you and yours. I do hope you learn the meaning of forgiveness one day. As far as my church offices, that is between me, the local congregation and the Lord.

Thank you and that has been done. I have always felt that the normal person who is reasonable and prudent will respond positively to a change in tone. That is not the case here, and it is best left at that.

I do appreciate your posts and friendship, as you have been a big influence in correcting my attitude several times over the years.

You have not confessed, much less acknowledged your continual wickedness.
