First: Brave and correct translation in Matthew 28:1.

Next: Honest and precise translation in Mark 27:57.

Third: Unflinching and unambiguous translation in John 19:39.

Then you will know and understand about the "Day of Substance", weight and gravity.

And the rest will fall in place.

If it's a riddle to you, find out the solution.
The key to unlock the mystery is simple faith in a literal Bible of Law, Promise, Prophecy and Poetry "CONCERNING THE CHRIST" in the Old Testament; and Gospel Good News and Fulfillment of God in Christ God with us.

Your translation of this is incorrect as the whole context will show.

    Mark only has 16 chapters

If it's a riddle to you, find out the solution.

Mark 2:28 Christ claims to be "Lord of the Sabbath" the text does not say "Lord of week day 1".

Is 58:13 The Sabbath is the "Holy day of the LORD" not "week day 1 is the holy day of the LORD"

Is 66:23 in the new earth "from Sabbath to Sabbath" shall ALL MANKIND come before God to worship. - All eternity all mankind will be keeping the weekly Sabbath as known to Isaiah and his readers in chapter 66.

And even the Baptist Confession of Faith admits that it is the SAME DAY that is kept "from creation to the resurrection" as the Sabbath of the 4th commandment - the 7th day of the week.

    in Christ,

    Bob

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I'd rectified it if I could; but 'edit-time' is over.

You do feel good about yourself hey?

You have all the right to.
