During an interview on Fox Business’ Cavuto Wednesday, former Texas Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) commented on the unfolding situation in Syria, specifically calling the recent chemical attack a ‘false flag’ likely carried out by the US backed Al Qaeda filled rebels.

Pat Buchanan: Chemical Attack ‘Reeks Of False Flag Operation’

During an interview with Newsmax Thursday, three-time presidential adviser Pat Buchanan joined the growing number of mainstream voices now specifically labeling the recent chemical attacks in Syria as a false flag.
“…First, this thing reeks of a false flag operation,” said Buchanan. “I would not understand or comprehend that Bashar al-Assad, no matter how bad a man he may be, would be so stupid as to order a chemical weapons attack on civilians in his own country when the immediate consequence of which might be that he would be at war with the United States. So this reeks of a false flag operation.”

Ron Paul’s statement calling the chemical attacks a false flag while on Fox News last Wednesday has seemingly opened the flood gates for other journalists to come forward with their similar findings. During an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News Friday, photojournalist Jonathan Alpeyrie, who was kidnapped and held captive by Syrian rebels for 81 days last April, said he also believed the recent chemical attack was a rebel backed false flag operation.
This coincides with the fact that Obama is now publicly on the same side as Al-Qaeda, as Anthony Gucciardi has broken down:

While the mainstream media has ridiculed and almost completely ignored the historical reality of false flag operations, prominent voices within the alternative news have now forced the term into the public narrative. The power structure has begun to panic from what they themselves have deemed the “global political awakening.” Powerful documentary films have been incremental tools in relaying information to the public on historical examples of state-sponsored terror.

VLADIVOSTOK, Russia (Reuters) - Russia's President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday it would be "utter nonsense" for the Syrian government to use chemical weapons when it was winning its war with rebels, and urged U.S. President Barack Obama not to attack Syrian forces.

Consider this: the only beneficiaries from the atrocity were the rebels, previously losing the war, who now have Britain and America ready to intervene on their side. While there seems to be little doubt that chemical weapons were used, there is doubt about who deployed them.

It is important to remember that Assad has been accused of using poison gas against civilians before. But on that occasion, Carla del Ponte, a U.N. commissioner on Syria, concluded that the rebels, not Assad, were probably responsible.

It's a laughable situation where the US is now an ally of Al Qaeda, thanks to its clown of a big-mouthed president who thinks he is supposed to speak out immediately because he's got this thing called a Nobel Peace price, and a large portion of the American public, and its main ally, Great Britain, agree with communist Putin.
laughable. crying shame. flabbergasting. I don't know what else to call it, but it sure can't be called wise.

Obama will kowtow to Putin as usual.

I think the world saw what a weakling he was when they caught his "wait until I get re-elected" comment when he was snuggling up to Putin.

Russia is NOT our friend. China is not our friend. Time for America to come home and let the Middle East implode as we all know it will sooner or later. We cannot stop it.

Yeah right that would be like revoking the military industrial complexes biggest meal ticket.

Less money for the MIC means less political contributions for Washington's political elite.

No way their going to let that happen.

To most people around here that would make Jesus a conspiracy theorist.

If Jesus were here today most Christians would call him a conspiracy theorist for warning them about a one world government even He laid out the whole mass of evidence in fine detail and swore on the bible. Unless He happened to be employed by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp Inc. and then He'd most likely lose His job for reporting the truth.

I get an eerie feeling whenever I turn on the news and hear all these "world leaders" calling for a New World Order.

What really creeps me out is they do it almost daily now and most Christians choose to go on living in denial and ridiculing anyone that talks about it.

And this is not a republican verses democrat drum beat for it. Both are unwittingly promoting it. But, as I said and you got a bit perturb with me, this is God's plan and this new world order will come, and the USA will be a part of it one way or the other, either as a leader or as a subordinate to it. But, it is coming!

I'm with up until you say it's God's will to destroy billions of lives. God has done plenty of things against His will to bring about His ultimate victory over evil and death.

I'm not going to hash it out again  but that really doesn't make any sense to say God does against His will.

And yet the bible is full of examples. Here's but one God placed a king over Israel. Not because He willed it but because the Israelites wouldn't have it any other way. He warned them about what would happen and it did.

Man's freewill operates within the will of God to bring forth His purpose in the final conclusions of all things. Ultimately, God willed that kings should preside over Israel for a time and purpose. Man is responsible for his own freewill decisions, but it is God who allows this freewill to operate within His ultimate will of what will take place, how it will take place, and when it will take place.

"O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable [are] his judgments, and his ways past finding out!"

Understanding the depths of God's plans and purposes here on earth is impossible given our flawed and limited minds. The Lord has given us the amount of understanding He wants us to have in His Holy Scripture. Given that, in all probability, both you and Poncho or correct, although, from the way we think, there appears to be a major conflict.

It is my sincere hope that once we are in glory with the Lord, we will fully understand the relationship between the free will of man and God's sovereignty, and exactly how the line is drawn. This is one of the most debating issues in the history of Christianity. A full understanding will put to rest all the endless debates throughout the ages, including the countless threads about the subject on this board. At this point, all I know is that God is sovereign, and that man is responsible for his actions and decisions within the framework that God has determined.

I do congratulate both of you for the civil back and forth exchanges on the subject which is light years beyond what we see in the theological sections of the board.

    Amen!

Robust debate should be a good thing between children of God. "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend". I have had many debates with TULIP believers on this subject and I love passionate back and forth, what saddens me is all the insults and condescending that is allowed to go on sometimes. I really believe part of the role of a moderator should be to speak up against it, actually be a teacher and help mold believers who participate here into the image of Jesus Christ. Jesus debated people with grace and no personal attacks.

    God speed!
