I say something good about a place for Christian education and get responses, then a message by an administrator that says I posted an "ad". I never meant it to be an "ad" in the first place. However, his post has a web address to a church. So, I suppose that's ok, not really an "ad". A little confusing for me. Anyway, I suppose I'll have to watch my wording, or just place a web address the next time. (?) Any suggestions?

    Welcome to the BB.

You could have started a thread in the Baptist Colleges/Seminaries forum, something like "I Like S. Seminary," then simply converse about it, telling us what is good about it. But the way you phrased it was more like an ad. Then you compounded things by starting another thread with the exact same wording, which most here on the BB would consider to be "trolling."

It's usually acceptable to have a web address to your church like you mentioned. But that's not an ad but just a link.

    God bless.

    P. S. Your final sarcasm on that thread about turning the other cheek certainly didn't endear you to those who read it. Just saying!

Another thing... You have only been here a while, and only have posted 8 posts. Get some tenure here just posting and participating. Maybe you will gain clout and influence beyond what is perceived as advertising.
