The Scriptures are the final authority.

    KJV 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
    how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
    according to the scriptures.

KJV 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
    for instruction in righteousness:

Scripture references to the church are speaking about the body of Christ,
    not one particular denomination.

KJV Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ,
and every one members one of another.

Adventist Churches, Baptist Churches, Brethren Churches,
Methodist Churches, Episcopal Churches, Friends Churches,
Latter Day Saints Churches, Lutheran Churches, Mennonite Churches, Church of God Churches, Moravian Churches, Roman Catholic Churches, Reformed Churches, Greek Catholic Churches, Pentecostal Churches, Presbyterian Churches, Spiritualist Churches, United Church of Christ Churches, Wesleyan Churches, World Wide Church of God Churches, Salvation Army, American Rescue Workers

All Churches are commanded to teach and observe the scriptures.

    KJV Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

KJV John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

I doubt you have ever seen an actual 1611 KJV Bible. If you had you would know that it is near impossible to read. You have no idea what you are talking about.

The odd thing is that for all the fervor the OP has concerning the KJV 1611, he doesn't quote from it.

    Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV 1611)

And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me in heauen and in earth. Goe ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Sonne, and of the holy Ghost: Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and loe, I am with you alway, euen vnto the end of the world. Amen.

The Original 1611 King James New Testament
of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

In fact, both the black-letter Gothic print and the early forms of spelling
will reward the diligent reader with a slower, meditative reflection upon the words and phrases.

In Awe of Thy Word, understanding the King James Bible,
it's mystery and history, letter by letter
    .
Only the King James Bible keeps the early English Bible words and sounds
which codified the letter meanings recently discovered by computational linguists from MIT and Stanford Universities.
Coverdale spoke of the Bible’s “holy letters.” In Awe of Thy Word demonstrates all 26 letter meanings.

In all your posts around here you quote from the KJV last revision in 1769. Yet advocate for a 1611 text. I'm just calling out your discrepancy.

Well man, you can be respectful and engage in reasonable discussion which involves testing truth claims against evidence offered, or you can do something different. The choice is yours.

If you are the expert on editions of the KJV, why do your posts suggest that you are actually uninformed about all the actual differences and variations in KJV editions?

Can you list the 2,000 differences that would affect the sound between the text of the 1611 edition of the KJV and a typical Oxford KJV edition today?

Can you list the over 100 errors said to be in the 1769 Oxford edition of the KJV?

The Scriptures do not teach that the word of God is bound to the textual criticism decisions and translation decisions of one exclusive group of Church of England scholars or critics in 1611.

The Scriptures do not teach a number of the opinions that you keep repeating.

didn't God inspire them to create the 'perfect' English translation though?

This would, of necessity, have to mean that each and every church....no matter in what part of the earth they happen to be found...regardless of what language is spoken by them...regardless of what Bible (or fragments thereof) is available to them....would have to be in full, total compliance 24/7/365 with Christ's commands....right?

    MMRRPP! WRONG!

The Gothic print makes it hardta read for people with poor close-up vision, and the combo of Gothic font and archaic spelling removes the focus of many from actually comprehending the meaning of many passages, instead causing them to focus on deciphering it.

    Horse Feathers!

First of all, ihis entire quote is completelt garbage, simply more of Gail Riplinger's lies. Remember, this is a dudette who has DELIBERATELY MISQUOTED several other authors, and DELIBERATELY confused B rooke F enton Westcott, the textual scholar, with W illiam W ynn Westcott, a physician, coroner, and spiritualist who founded the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn spiritualist society. Those two Westcotts were not related, nor did they know each other.

Quoting from, and seemingly believing, any of GAR's junk destroys what little credibility you had here. But I must thank you for doing more harm to the KJVO myth than any of us Freedom Readers could do. You help prove the KJVOs' lack of credibility from an insider's position.

    And, OH YEAH..!..!..?

What happened to "WHAT I POST, I WROTE" ??????????????????????????

You just checkmated yourself on THAT one!
