I think that McCain is a burnout. Nothing he says makes any sense to me. I put him in the same category as Obama--a demagogue.

If I were polled today, I would say that I support Cruz for President. It has been a long time since we had a member of Congress who would fight for standard Republican values. You have the feeling that unlike the Wall Street and Country Club types in the GOP, Cruz would fight to the very end.

It seems like I read somewhere McCain is about to retire. Boehner should go with him.

I think Cruz's comments comparing acceptance of the Great Pretender's falsely named "Affordable Care Act" to Nazi appeasement by Neville Chamberlain was over the top, but I'll give Cruz the benefit of the doubt because he was without sleep for over 16 hours when he made the comment.

On the other hand, I find McCain's sideways endorsement of the PPACA -- "The people have spoken" by reelecting the Empty Suit -- is utter nonsense. Although repeal of the ACA was in the GOP platform, it barely rose a wave during the campaign. I don't think most Americans realized a year ago how bad this legislation is, so reelecting its fraudulent author was not a vote on health care.

I don't think most people realize Cruz's filibuster was nothing more than the opening shot in his presidential campaign, he knew he would fail at stopping a vote, but was merely getting his name and face in front of conservatives. Honestly, I don't think he has much more substance than the Empty Suit. For that matter, I'm not sure anyone in the GOP leadership does.

McCain is feeling very uncomfortable I think, it is very tight being in Harry Reids back pocket. Blood flow to the brain may be limited.

Yep, just a bit over the top.

How do we know that his comment about appeasers was 16 hours into his speech? And so what? The guy is a lawyer and a Senator speaking on the (televised) Senate floor. He ought to know better.

He also said that Senate rules is like a rigged WWF wrestling match.
