    Baptist Board theology is oftentimes remarkably similar to that of Forrest Gump.

    “My momma always said, ‘Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.’”
    (Forrest Gump Theology)​

    Examples of Forrest Gump Theology:

    “I could buy you a gift at Christmas, and the next day you can take it back to the store.”

    “Again, it would be like me buying a car for you and offering it to you as a gift.”

    “I've gone on record here many years ago to say that the belief that God could save all, but He chooses not to do so, is in my opinion a "damnable heresy" (II Peter 2:1). To believe such would go completely against the very nature of God.”

    “no potter in his right mind would make pottery just to destroy it. That would be a waste of time and money.”

    “God has given each man, woman, boy, and girl an opportunity to be saved.”

    “If I said I bought food for my children, does this mean I have never bought food for children that are not mine? Of course not.”

    “I have said in the past it is much like a game of chess.”

    “Did you have to be supernaturally regenerated to believe that George Washington was our first President?”

    “Man is free to accept or reject God's drawing.”

    “My goal has never been to win an argument.”

    Boy, that Forrest Gump makes a lot more sense than you Calvinists. :thumbsup:

    :laugh::laugh: I am calvinistic (depending on who's evaluating) but that was a good response to a meaningless thread.

    My guess is that it is a weak attempt at insulting those who reject Calvinistic theology (actually, as I look again at the comments, it is fairly obvious). Instead of engaging believers regarding theological positions, the poster feels it best to just say that non-Calvinism is to say that the future and its outcome is uncertain.
