So today what the media claims was a mentally unbalanced woman drove her car erratically around the White House and was then chased by dozens of police vehicles who seemed incapable of stopping her despite millions of dollars spent on fancy barricades that were supposed to stop a determined terrorist with presumably a better plan than just driving around real fast. Up to Capitol Hill, round and round the fountain at the bottom of the Capitol building.

She seemed panicked to have all those police cars following her so she drove faster, around and around.

So…the cops just started shooting her! But she had a baby in the car with her. Too bad. Thankfully the baby was not killed in the hail of police bullets in one of the most densely populated parts of the Capitol.

Already the damage control is being laid on thick:
“The security perimeters worked,” D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier said Thursday evening. “They did exactly what they were supposed to do.”
Oh really? What did they do? How did they work?

UPDATE: They kind of worked — on the cop cars!

No one will ever second guess the real police state that the Capitol Hill Police has created. They are always “doing a great job.” As arrogant and self-important as the staffers were, they all loved being yelled at by big bullying cops. It made them feel in danger and thus important. They love that police state.

EDIT: I added “what the media claim was a deranged woman.” There is no proof of this at this point and the corporate media is not a trustworthy source.

They put on a great display of protecting the capitol from "terrorists" like this young mother and US veterans that's for sure. Congress is safe once more to continue funding and arming real live heart eating head chopping Christian killing terrorists in Syria.

    USA! USA! USA! HOOAH! :applause:

No one called her a terrorist. Truth is they did not know what she was about. And because they could not know they needed to take every precaution. That is only reasonable.

It was only after they stopped her that they found out what she was about. However, she hurt some people very seriously in the mean time. And to use her illness as a means to demonize cops is nothing but a cheap shot and discredits you and everyone involved.

It's only reasonable if the "war on terror" narrative were true. Which it is not.

You do not make "war" on anyone much less a "terrorist" by funding and arming them. See Libya and Syria.

So what really happened here is a young woman was sacrificed in order to protect a false and dying narrative or the "big lie".

I can't see how you're trying to tie this in with a police state, or the war on terror, Poncho. A woman was somewhere doing something she shouldn't have been. She didn't listen, and the officers were forced to escalate their attempts at stopping her. They knew nothing about her, only that she was a danger. When she wouldn't listen, she became more than a danger. She became a threat.

She wasn't sacrificed to anything. She forced their hand. It has nothing to do with a police state or the war on terror. If anything, how long it took them to stop her is a testimony that says it's not as much of a police state as you say it is

Which part she was sacrificed to protect the big lie or the big lie is the "war on terror"?

The govt of by and for the banks and corporations funds and arms terrorists. The evidence is manifest. The banks launder billions of dollars for the drug cartels every year and no one goes to jail GOOGLE IT! At the same time we're being told we are fighting a war against drugs?

    Use your brain.

Real wars are not fought by funding and arming your enemies. What's not to get about that?

And yes this has been another display of the police state.

The incident resulted in a lockdown of Congress and a “shelter in place” order on Capitol Hill.

Stamford resident Eric Bredow told News 19 WLTV an FBI bomb squad arrived at his building and a helicopter swooped overhead. Other residents were ordered to evacuate and were told they would not be allowed to return home for hours or overnight.

CNN reported the condominium complex remained cordoned off on Friday.

On Friday, the FBI and local law enforcement said they did not find firearms or “evidence that [Carey] was angry with the government,” The Courant reported. SOURCE

Can you spot the message being sent to Mr. and Mrs. America Sapper?

This "search" was more psychological warfare aimed at the people of the USA. This is no different than shutting down Boston and forcing people out of their homes to "search" for one 19 year old suspect. The message? Obey us or else you slaves!

When did being angry at the government become a crime anyway?

Read the MIAC report Sapper. Bet you end up being on the list of suspected anti government insurgents.

I do not think the question is how the police performed, the question is, why does any Congressman or Senator deserve any protection when they are the ones that shut down the government? They should all have maximum protection, behind bars.

D.C. Cops Running Drill on Same Day as Capitol Shooting

A joint training exercise ending today, in addition to barricades and checkpoints placed at the White House, may have played a role in the horrific police execution of a woman today at the nation’s capitol.

According to a report featured on Army.mil, this is the last day federal, state, local and municipal agencies will be testing “interagency operability during a crisis impacting the District of Columbia,” as part of a joint exercise known as Capital Shield 14.

“Capital Shield 2014 is a joint training exercise in the National Capital Region, or NCR, that runs from Sept. 30 thru Oct. 3, and is hosted by the Joint Force Headquarters – National Capital Region,” the army’s report says. The NCR includes Washington, D.C.’s metropolitan area.

The drill “also trains and prepares the Department of Defense to provide defense support to civil authorities and employ appropriate force protection measures as requested,” force protection measures necessary to protect the homeland like those employed today in the brutal shooting of the 34-year-old dental hygienist.

    < snip >

The fact the woman, reportedly Miriam Carey from Stamford, Conn., was not armed didn’t stop media from reporting there were “shots exchanged” at the Capitol, nor did it stop officers from responding with lethal force, nor did it stop D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier from saying the officers “acted heroically.”

One can only hope Capital Shield 2014 trains law enforcement to react in a better manner than they did today, where a 20-car police chase could barely catch a lone woman in a car who we are learning had a “history of mental health issues.”

    CONTINUE . . .

Savage: Only Outrage at Execution of Woman in DC on Prison Planet

Radio host Michael Savage trashes a caller for supporting DC cops over the Killing of Miriam Carey, adding that the only outrage over the execution was to be found on the Savage Nation and Prison Planet.com.

In the second clip, Savage lambastes Congress for applauding the execution.

    CONTINUE . . .

So what do we know now? This woman got caught up in a (temporary) checkpoint manned by the military and police (see posse comitatus act of 1878 for details on why it's illegal for the military to be policing civilians.)

She got scared and turned around and tried to get out of there as fast as possible.

Evidently she disobeyed an order given by the police state gods. Which resulted in police chasing her around and smashing into barricades. The media jumped in and ramped up the hysteria while the cowardly politicians on the hill hid themselvesg in closets and under their chairs. While their uniformed gods barked orders at them.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! ALERT! ALERT! Washington is under attack! Run for the hills! Run for your lives! Hide in a ditch! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

We have a crazy woman behind the wheel of a car! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

    Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! We're under attack we're all gonna die! RUN RUN RUN! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

    Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!

What all this police state fear and hysteria is leading up to is having towns and cities locked down and swat teams called out locked and loaded to order people out of their homes and getting people killed every time a car backfires or runs a stop light. I'll bet the mass corporate media was salivating in hopes this woman turned out to be a white Christian conservative gun owner or a disgruntled veteran.

So you would criminalize what, in effect, is a struggle to preserve Constitutional operation of the nation?

How can one characterize what is going on in Congress or the White House now as a "struggle to preserve the Constitution?" Lets ask it this way, if each and every Congressman and Senator was fully investigated for bribery, treason, theft of tax funds, extortion, improper use of office and the public trust, how many do you think would be acquitted by a jury of their peers? By peers I mean American citizens.

Simple. Let's look at the facts:

Fifty-six percent of the American people want the ACA gutted or repealed. That is five and a half percent more against the ACA than were for the Great Pretender in the election not even a year ago.

Why are they so adamantly against it?

    • It is now clearly seen that the ACA has been deliberately misrepresented to the public for four years, that its not "free" and we can't keep our doctors, hospitals and insurance policies.
    • It will increase virtually every single insurance premium in the U.S. at the very least by two thirds if not double them.
    • Doctors and hospitals cannot afford the line-item managed health care the ACA will force on them.
    • Plus a myriad other issues that are known facts, which have contributed to the opinions among that majority of Americans who want the program killed.
Despite all this, the Democrats want what is now undeniably a minority opinion to prevail: Theirs, that the ACA is still a "good thing."

And why would they risk their political careers next November to insist on funding a program that will bankrupt health care in this country and put them out of office? One man, one idol, one egomanical pretender to greatness who insists on changing the democratic and free enterprise systems of this nation to leave his "legacy" mark on U.S. history.

This is called suborning the majority. That is, inducing legislative action that is contrary to majority opinion or rule by squelching the majority through some administrative maneuver or by bribery or deceit. The purpose is to force legislation or decisions that go against that majority opinion or rule. Such inducement can be achieved temporarily through a filibuster, and there have been times in U.S. history when filibusters have actually defeated legislation. Filibusters are actually allowed under Senate rules, but not in the House.

What is being done in Washington today is another example of suborning the majority. The Great Pretender is refusing to negotiate a compromise to the budget issue involving the ACA. He believes he can force the majority to vote the way the minority arrogantly insists is the only way they will pass a budget.

He may succeed. There is nothing in the Constitution that forces a chief executive to negotiate with a legislative chamber dominated by the opposite party. But if he does, he has flaunted the very concept of majority rule enthroned in the Constitution, he ignores public opinion, and he upholds minority opinion as being above majority rights. The people will not stand for it. Already opinion is swinging away from strictly blaming the Republicans to blaming everyone, and the swing will continue, as they realize the unreasonable attitude and defeat of legislative function lies only at the feet of the Great Pretender.

First of all, I am quite aware of all the facts you cite about the ACA, as my wife lost her job over the act a little over a year ago. The doctor she worked for went out of business directly related to the legislation. She now has another job at another doctor's office and hopefully it will last until she quits working.

Having said that, I really do not know what the ACA has to do with present GOP leadership leading by the direction the wind blows and Democrat whims. I will guarantee you if the group of Republican Congressmen and Senators known as the "Tea Party" did not exist, the Speaker and Mitch baby would not have done a thing and the government would not have been shut down. These are the same leaders that passed budgets of record deficit at the time during the Bush administration, and the leaders that have passed raising the debt ceiling, sequestration, and continuing resolutions during the Obama administration. Those three terms, debt ceiling, sequestration, and continuing resolution should not even be in the vocabulary. The proper words are called budget and appropriations bills.

The question is why is the government and media hyping the threat of terrorism especially "domestic terrorism" to the point where news outlets are now forced to ad "disclaimers" such as "terrorism is not suspected" or "un named authorities have said, 'there is no known link to terrorism" in their articles?

All the hype has gotten out of hand. Every time something bad happens people's first thoughts (if they have any at all) is "terrorism".

This woman didn't "force" anyone's hand. The notion that terrorists are lurking under every bed and behind every fire hydrant and we need to give up our liberties and live in an Orwellian big brother police state where the word of police dressed up in military uniforms like Nazi storm troopers with black masks toting around german submachineguns is the law is the culprit here.

Why do they do that? To intimidate us. To condition us to accept the police state and obey every order barked at us without thought or hesitation. As if we were mindless slaves of the state.

We're being trained to accept tyranny like Pavlov's dogs. And if you don't like it "you are probably a terrorist".

    It's gotten so bad now that . . .

Complaining about the taste of your tap water could also get you labeled as a potential terrorist.

Having “strange odors” or “bright colored stains on clothes” (what if you eat mustard or ketchup?) could get you labeled as a potential terrorist.
Complaining about U.S. drone assassinations could get you labeled a terrorist.

So could expressing fears of big brother or of economic collapse … or otherwise believing that we’re in a crisis. (Irony alert: if you’re afraid of the government, the government might go after you?)

Indeed, any American could be labeled as a potential terrorist by our government on a whim.

For example, the following actions may get an American citizen living on U.S. soil labeled as a “suspected terrorist” today:

And holding the following beliefs may also be considered grounds for suspected terrorism:
