I have not been feeling well lately. In fact when I was preaching this last Sunday I felt like passing out. I have struggled to breath and keep my oxygen level up. Today my blood pressure spiked and my doctor told me to go to the E Room. It turns out I have Pneumonia. More specifically walking Pneumonia.

    Prayer appreciated

No, I need to let my lung rest and it is difficult to keep my o2 level up.

Been there. Done that. I kept on pushing myself and ended up much longer in the recovery process. You rest. We'll pray.

Take it easy and let others do the work for now. You need to recover and pushing it will make it take even longer to get better. I pray you're on the mend even now!

Yes, be very careful, pneumonia is very dangerous. My brother had a severe case just over three years ago, and he is still on oxygen from it.

Rev, take good care of yourself and listen to Padre! If you don't rest, it will take longer to heal and/or you will end up with a relapse. (Been there, done that, as I am notorious for ignoring the doctor's advice.:tonofbricks:) Praying you make a quick, full recovery.

Take care of yourself and don't try to return to your normal routine too quickly. This can severely damage your lungs unless you take the time to let your body recover.

I will keep you in prayer and ask for God's blessings for you, your family, and your congregation.

Please let us know how you are doing.

Yea I was just getting ready to post. I just came back from the doctor and I now have asthmatic bronchitis. Old saw bones seemed pretty concerned. I am supposed to stay inside and if I go out I have to wear a scarf over my moth and nose. I am on breathing treatments, another round of antibiotics and something call sinclair.

Drinking a lot of warm and hot liquids should help to break loose the fleem.......coffee and tea should suffice.....

    That sounds very tasty.

It's a very New Mexican thing to do. I hope they're hatch chiles. :applause:

The only real question here is red or green.

As a Texan, I'm a lover of red. But when I vacation in Red River every year, I go green.

I suggest making a salsa as hot as you can stand it and indulging in the power of the pepper. They're full of antioxidants, low calorie, full of vitamins, and they increase endorphin release and metabolism.

May God bless your body and your spirit as you continue your healing journey.

By the way, here's an amazing chicken tortilla soup recipe. It's full of flavor and you can spice it up as much as you like. Instead of whole chicken, I usually make it with chicken breasts and chicken broth - much faster and leaner.
