Did Jesus and the apostles.....

    .....ever spend any of their "down times" together in what we'd call "amusements" (playing 'fun games,' etc.)?

    Probably.

    It's all speculation, but I can't imagine why they wouldn't.

    We don't know about their laundry schedule, mealtime routines (for the most part), how they managed the toilet facilities, or whether or not they camped in the open or stayed in tents while they were traveling.

    I don't think the Apostles had time even before they were called to spend idle time playing games. Men and women when I grew up worked sometimes from sun up till sun down six day's a week, children played games.

    Why wouldn't they? I can see Jesus calling Peter and John to one side of the boat to look into the water, and of course since it was Jesus telling them to look, they eagerly search the water...and then Jesus gives them a push overboard. :). The fact we have a sense of humor is a reflection of the One with the greatest one!
