    Had a young man I was assisting with college credit recently; we looked at his VMET for his career field (HUMINT), and I was surprised to find that they classified his courses as being qualified for police investigative work.

    So here's my question in response: did we have a rise in military-style police tactics after WWII? The Korean War? Viet Nam?
