Very Depressed.

    I don't want to go into details, but I received some very disheartening news last night.

    I'm feeling a lot of heartbreak and I'm struggling horribly with depression and even bitterness.

    Your prayers would be appreciated.

    Depression and bitterness. It's a terrible place to be. I know because I've been there - more than once.

    You have my prayers for peace and a mended heart.

    God is in charge of the justice of our situations and the justice of others. But when we hurt terribly - that isn't always a comfort. Our anger and bitterness unfortunately sometimes is what we hold on to - thinking it makes us feel better to be angry.

    I'll ask God to guard your heart from bitterness.

    I am praying for you tonight.

    Brother....the evil one is working overtime to destroy lives of the lords own and using depression & setbacks as his main tool to do it with. But we are to put our faith in Him and Him alone. He will always be faithful to those who are faithful t him. If you want to talk!, you can PM me as well. Also, Martyn Lloyd Jones has a book on Spiritual Depression that I pull to when I go through depression...its a good read.
