What did this man do that is not done ~4,000 times each day?

Is there ever a reason to kill the unborn child?

No, but all women who go to an abortion clinic want an abortion. His girlfriend did not. He committed forgery to acquire the drug by signing his physician father's name on a blank prescription slip, misled his girlfriend by giving it to her in a bottle labeled as Amoxicillin, and lied to her by claiming his dad wanted her to take the antibiotic for a bacterial infection she was suffering. He deserves the prison sentence.

It just goes to show how two-faced the abortion industry is. People readily admit life on the grounds of "if they want to." If they want to admit it, that unborn child is suddenly a precious life. If they don't want to admit it, it is worthless and can go in the garbage.
It's the sickest mindset I've ever come across, this way of deeming the value of a human.
There is nothing less appalling about a murdered unwanted baby than a murdered wanted baby.

Old, the difference I see is that she did not volunteer to take the pill or to have a legal abortion. That is what made it illegal. So, there is a difference.

Why is it that men so often want men protected from the consequences of their actions?

Why is it different, when a woman has an abortion, without ever telling the father?

Whether I like or hate it. Whether you like it or hate it .... it is legal.

What this fellow did was not legal.

Why do you defend him? [Curious, not arguing.]

    I haven't. I'm addressing a prevalent contemporary social injustice.

I understand. But for better or worse we are, for the most part, a country of law.

There are many social injustices I would like to see change but am not optimistic those changes will come about. Too many politicians do not have the political will to make those changes through law.

So, what the fellow did was illegal.

If she took the pill willingly he would not have been guilty ... and under current law, neither would she.

    Yes, he is a murderer.
So is every woman who chooses to have an "abortion".

And every woman who has ever had one, without the consent of the father, is guilty of the exact same crime.

No. But the woman had the right to decide the future of her child. This is different.

    Typical liberal stance: "If I approve, it's fine; if I don't approve, then it's 1) illegal, 2) immoral, 3) jus ain't right, 4) yada yada, yada.

Yep, if the woman wanted to get rid of the baby, then it's her right to decide to kill it - just a blob of cells!
If the woman did not want to get rid of it, it has suddenly become an actual human baby!

Yep, in liberal logic this all makes sense.:BangHead:

    Mr

I don't agree with whole scale abortion either. How dare you put me in your little box and call me a "typical liberal." Christians don't view people in that way. You might want to examine who's the lord of your life, Jesus or the Republican party.

I have no idea what you mean that the woman has the right ....? Are you saying a woman has the right to murder her child?

If that's going to be your stance, do you also believe the father had an equal right to decide the future of his child?
