Was doing some research on pre-trib vs. post-trib rapture last night and stumbled across a website called Bethel Ministries, run by Harry Bethel. He is post-trib and makes a somewhat decent case for it.

I started poking around his website and found some of his beliefs were theologically off-the-wall and others were downright kooky! He does not believe Christians should serve in the military, attend college, including Bible colleges or seminaries. 99% of Baptists are apostates and ALL pastors teach false doctrine.

And here's where it gets dicey.

According to him there are 15 million "mono-beings" living in the USA, a high percentage of them in government, and 100 million "monobeings" worldwide. What are monobeings? These are creatures created by God that only have physical bodies, they have no soul, no spirit. Naturally, he has a God-given ability to discern who the monobeing are. He bases his entire theology on one word in one verse in the Bible, that verse is

2 Tim 2:13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

And the one word is 'imposter' which he says is a created being with no soul and no spirit. They have no capacity for love and therefore are "emotional predators". He claims that the psychological classification of psychopaths are really monobeings. These monobeings are planners of the New World Order and also include the news media and Hollywood celebrities.

According to Mr. Bethel, monobeings usually have dark eyes, have a "reptilian-like stare" and frequently have a gap in their middle teeth (though many have dental work to eliminate the gap.) He then lists several well-known people that are monobeings. Yep, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Dick Cheney, Ben Bernanke, Bill Gates, Joe Biden--all monobeings.

On one of his web pages he purportedly interviews a monobeing. Here is what the monobeing says is in the short-term future of the United States. Let me know if you've heard this sort of rhetoric before....

Unless God intervenes the short-term future will be very chaotic. If Obama wins re-election look for him to try to personally springboard into the international arena by selling out the US --- possibly a 'false-flag' event of some kind that gets UN peacekeeping troops stationed in our own country and on from there. If he loses (or, as some have speculated, gets assassinated), look for LA-style riots across the country. That could also be a springboard for UN Peacekeeping troops and an ultimate surrender of national sovereignty.

    2 Timothy 3, (NASB)

Might be a typo, ITL. I think this is the right one. Have no clue how he gets that cockamamie theology from "imposter," which is the Greek goes, meaning "deceiver, imposter," and more specifically, a juggler, wailer, howler. I believe those last refer to the first-century equivalents of clowns. Hardly soulless or spiritless. Ah well, takes all kinds.

Of course he has the 'secret knowledge'. Who would posit 'secret knowledge' and then have someone ELSE control it?

I have not so secret knowledge: I can spot a con man in a very short period of time.

If true, David Letterman has to be one of the monobeings, no doubt in my mind.

LOL. I don't think so. But "false flag" incidents, rioting in the streets if Obama loses, U.S. losing sovereignty, secret FEMA camps, etc. have all been seriously discussed here.
