Not sure where to put this, so I thought this section was where the 'action' happened.

I have one clear failure as a Christian. I have a colossal ego. (Of course I can justify it...) Most of the time I can keep it under rein - or properly, God keeps it under rein for me - and sometimes it runs wild.

Among other recent sins, I have dealt with John of Japan in a less than decent, and much less than Brotherly Christian manner. John pushed a couple of my buttons and wounded my ego. As I said, it's big and therefore a good sized target. I cannot say that John did this on purpose. Even IF (please note the IF) he did, his actions do not justify my unseemly conduct.

Therefore - and mostly to fulfill my Lord's promptings - I offer an apology for my conduct. I am sorry for being a jerk (fill in your own word). I will make every attempt in the future to conduct my conversation with more decorum and Christian love.

For any that need an excuse to stay mad at me, rejoice. I haven't changed my position on much of anything; other than a couple of matters I addressed in the appropriate threads.

John. I'm sorry and am determined not to be antagonistic in the future.

Just saw this. The wife and I were out much of the day running errands and having fun.
Knowing about you only what I've read recently here on the BB, it would be pretty hard for me to push your buttons on purpose. My co-workers and I here on Hokkaido have discussed button-pushing extensively in the past. :type:
I haven't been mad at all, personally. Just puzzled, wondering what was going on with you.
This was a very gracious apology, easy to accept. No hard feelings. :flower:

Threads like this keep me coming back, even amongst all the acrimony, a flower bloom. Very good thread.

Don't we all. And believe me, I've looked stupid quite a few times here on the BB!
