Princeton University professor of theology (!!) Peter Singer espouses the same idiotic concept.

Where is the guy who is going to tell us that we don't need to be concerned about this sin? We just need to show them the love of Christ and ignore the fact that they are condoning murder.

Yes, all sin leads to hell no matter the sin. However, we cannot ignore the fact that some sins have greater consequences on earth than others. Driving five miles over the speed limit, in most cases, has no real consequences to fellow earth dwellers other than the potential for a speeding ticket. However, murder of unborn and born babies certainly carries greater consequences. Homosexual marriage carries far greater consequences to society because of it's perversion and break down of the family than failing to report $500.00 of earned income.

I got the above from the website "Illustration Exchange".
While I am far from being a music afficionado, I love classical music, and wonder, could it be that there could have been a few Beethovens among the millions that have been legally murdered since Roe v Wade took effect ?
I mean, consider the kind of "music" being produced today.

Back in Bible college years ago, our professor, who happened to be the College President as well, and pastor of the church we attend, declared, in class, that a fetus is not a living person, as yet.
It is just a mass of muscles with no soul, or words to that effect.
Well, of course this was challenged.
Among other things I said, "please bear in mind that we are in Bible college in order to one day go out and start a church and lead a congregation. What if we encounter a case of counselling for an unwanted pregnancy by a female member ? (like there was such a thing as an unwanted pregnancy).
Are we to tell her, well, go ahead and kill "IT".
No sin there, and all you need to do, really, is confess the sin of lust and libido you felt when you fornicated.
    Next case, please.
I sincerely hope the professor has "repented".

I hope he has, too. Even if he hasn't, there are more than he, Singer and this so-called "board of medical ethicists" at Oxford to contend with.

It is inevitable that this will happen unless abortion is ended in this country. Sex selective abortion is being advocated by some and, though illegal, apparently taking place.

Pal....is that why you moved to California, in the hopes it
would fall into the ocean. Next time then, consider Chicago.

pinoybaptist: A professor in a college ethics class presented his students with a problem. He said, “A man has syphilis and his wife has tuberculosis. They have had four children: one has died, the other three have what is considered to be a terminal illness. The mother is pregnant again. What do you recommend?” After a spirited discussion, the majority
of the class voted that she abort the child. “Fine,” said the professor. “You’ve just killed Beethoven.”

I've often wondered if the cure for cancer was tossed into the dumpster????

    I do brother, I do.
now, here in California resides the best (in my opinion) church choir I've heard before I went acapella-preferred.
And it's an amazing paradox that the most liberal state in the country right now also has a large number of Christ-professing denominations.
Which gives us quite a picture of what salt is as a preservative from God's wrath being poured in full.
Oh, by the way, California has had a bad (I won't call it severe yet) winter drought the news guys say some cattle have died already.
Uhmmmmm....(rubbing chin, eyes glazed due to far-off thoughts).

Think that some have the mistaken view that its either spritual battling, or political action...

truth is BOTH, for while many prayed to have slavery abolished in england and America, still HAD to fight in government and in courts for that to come true!

The following is an article by C. Everette Koop, Surgeon General under Reagan, and eminent pediatric surgeon. This article was written in the early 1980's and published in a pro-life pamphlet Abortion in America by Gary Bergel. Koop's remarks are prophetic. Some days ago I mentioned that the baby boomers has sat on their thumbs while 30% or more of the people who would be paying their Social Security and Medicare were butchered. Koop takes note of this problem and mentions its impact on euthanasia of the elderly. It is worth the read though I doubt it will change the mind of those who support abortion!

Perhaps you can but I can't. People have been sitting on their thumbs for 41 years while 56 million babies have been slaughtered and an untold number murdered after birth, The baby-boomer generation will bear the burden off the wrath of God however it is manifested.

well, doesn't help when MANY clergy support and condone it, especially the 'commander in Chief!"

    Honestly speaking, no.
And to be even more candid about it I don't think he even knows what he was talking about.
His doctrines were by and large potpourri.
