Would you say this could be cured by a phone update with a bigger keyboard? Spell check? Proof reading? I type and spell poorly, but- this is like posting in tongues-

these were posted in the last couple of days....

Sounds like he's speaking in tongues.

    He needs a bigger device.

I hate my typos. I try to check them before I submit a post but invariably some get through. But honestly, a little more care should be given before a post is posted.

Do you remember Ed Sutton,or was he before your time here? He called himself the grammar cop. Not only poor grammar, but careless spelling got his attention while walking his beat.

I would vote for tongues but since there is no interpreter tongues would be contrary to Scripture!

Unless you type with intelligible words with your keyboard, how will anyone know what you are saying? You'll just be typing into the ether world. (taking liberties with 1 Cor. 14:9)

So you are the new cop on the beat! Do you get a whistle and a night stick? Old Eddie would be so proud. :tongue3:

Well now don't be hypocritical there EWF. You just told Gerald :"Your English is poor." It wasn't anything of the kind. Take off your shades.

So when did you suddenly acquire standard English? Can we point to your frequent errors since you thought his example was poor English?

    You're [not "your"] wrong EWF.

Define standard English? On this board....hardly the issue. We here are typing on cell phones and tablets. Some of these devices do not have spell checkers. I am less concerned with pleasing the anal retentive grammer nut as I am with being able to get my point across to the mass audience. But when a poster is completely unintelligible, then we have a problem.

That which you rarely use! ;-)
Many times your posts are unintelligible,vague,off-topic,and in need of a lot of clarity EWF.

You mean what Icon quoted in the OP? I guess it sounds like it somewhat. It requires a good deal of deciphering.

Give my neighbor a break. He has to translate everything out of New Jersian first. Most of New Jersian is non-verbal communication. How do you put a menacing glare through a unibrow into words? Nothing says You're a dead man like a deliberate unbuttoning of a suit coat. :wavey:

Yeah,it's hard to be non-verbal when posting here. Silent communication, including glares just won't transfer somehow.
