Can a Baptist have a mixture of dispensationalism, covenant theology, Armenism, Calvinism and Pentecostalism lurking within them and still be a Baptist?

That is my question ... and I hope to avoid members discussing the art of being a good Calvinist versus an Armenian. That is another forum. I just want to know, if a Baptist can believe certain aspects of these five controversial doctrines within their theological make up and still be a good Baptist?

Maybe like so many fifth, sixth, or tenth generational Americans. This would be more like a religious mutt, but is it possible? :type:

Dude, for the one hundredth time -- it's Arminian --not Armenien. And you didn't even spell the latter correctly this time --Armenian --natives of Armenia.

Yes, I think you are a mixed up Baptist.

    Rippon ....

.... I figured that was correct (spelling), but my editor software keeps changin it to what is driving you a little past being "nuts!" So, I am changing it to Arminianism, and putting the correct spelling in the memory of my software! Hopefully this will be your last message! Still, if you aren't Calvinist, you may be a little like Kim and Cher! LOL

    It is done!

Yes, but just so long as one does not hold to heretical views within those differing theologies!

    Hyper Dispy/Hyper cal/WoF/health/wealth prosperity ...

Holding to things like that puts one outide the "Baptist tradition"...

    Not only possible but probable.

Sometimes I think I belong to a Baptist Church because they are the ones I disagree with the least.
