    OK, it's field day and we are hot, sweaty, and our hair is blowing all over the place.

    But ... it's the last day of classes for students.

    ARE WE SMILING TOO MUCH?!?!? LOL!!

    Seriously, I love teaching and will miss my junior high babies. AND I'll be starting summer school next week.

    I'm the brunette and she's the blonde.

    LOL!! She was in charge of the "paint wars". Can you imagine 110 6th and 7th graders with women's knee high hosiery half-filled with powdered paint?

    Sort of like a water balloon, but a dry paint balloon. It's more fun because when you hit someone and powder poofs out of the nylon, you can keep using it until all the paint is gone. Water balloons can only be used a missiles once.

    My friend was "wounded" in the battle. LOL!!

    That sounds like fun. I'll pass that on to my wife, she's always concocting something up for the kids to do at school events.

    Great pic. You are a beautiful gal, inside and out, Scarlett! You have my utmost respect for teaching jr. high. When I taught, that was the hardest group, I thought. It takes special people to connect with them.
