    Interesting quote from the book "Emails from the Edge." The author spend years working as a journalist in the Mid-East. Later he traveled over many of these countries.

    This quote comes from his experiences ahead and just after 9/11

    My comment at the time was that any person who knew anything about Mid-East history would not have entered these misadventures.

    So your position is to do nothing about terrorism and despots who hate anyone who differs from their radical fundamentalism? What would the world be without us? Cut the head off the snake before the snake swims across the Atlantic.

    I could not agree more. However, doing the wrong thing, or an evil thing, or an unwise thing is not the answer to doing something.
