    I am not specifically addressing homosexuality, sorry but the photo was all I could find, but it hits the root of the problem in the church today! The church and society have relaxed its standards on fornication and adultery, which I believe has resulted in a firestorm of acceptance and backlash for speaking out against the above topic!

    So< regardless of the sin (fornication, glutteny, gossip, cussing, drinking, smoking, hate, anger, backbitting), why are the majority of churches not teaching from a Biblical Worldview and drawing the proverbial line in the sand, when it comes to sin of any kind? We know that all mankind has a worldview of things from society, to cultural issues, to our government, to laws and behaviors. What sets the church apart from the world is Jesus, and the Biblical view of the world around us, yet, the church seems to be falling down on the job and NOT its knees!

    Let me add this one thought from Joshua 24:15, "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (KJV)

    If this poll and discussion are aimed at "sin", then why the image pertaining only to homosexuality ???

    Great IDEA.....

    James passed on a GREAT suggestion! Replace the word Homosexuality with any sin you can think, and go from there.

    As I said in my OP - "Regardless of the sin (fornication, glutteny, gossip, cussing, drinking, smoking, hate, anger, backbitting), why are the majority of churches not teaching from a Biblical Worldview and drawing the proverbial line in the sand, when it comes to sin of any kind?"

    Can't respond to the poll because one can only choose one option:

    I would choose:
    • Biblically
    • As a humanist (note, I don't mean secular humanist)
    • Neither conservative or liberal, just Biblical
