    either as a re-make, new cast, ect

    Most of the shows I'd bring back wouldn't work today.

    Although they did bring Dragnet back a couple of years ago with Al Bundy, of all people, and it wasn't bad.

    It was much more like the radio version than the original TV version.

    They tried to remake Adam 12 but it was a disaster.

    I don't think recasting the classics would do them justice. But I loved Gunsmoke as a kid, my parents and I liked The Twilight Zone, and in my teens I enjoyed Star Trek. That last series proves you can't improve on the original, as only "Second Generation" was close to being worthwhile. The rest stunk, and so do the new movies.

    It was a Nickleodeon production and I expect it is American, but it was a cartoon of a very cynical little dog Ren and a doofus cat Stimpy....it appealed to my adolescent sense of humor.
