STUNNING! CBS AIRS VIOLENTLY ANTI-CHRISTIAN SONG
Lyrics declare, 'I wish the Virgin would've had an abortion'

I won't bother posting any of the article as you can find it for yourself right here. www.wnd.com/2014/07/stunning-cbs-airs-violently-anti-christian-song/#Uxe5yE47ecxGeIco.99

It's amazing to me just how far the moral decay in this country has grown. Unprecedented levels for sure. Scripture reflects the fall of many cities, nations, rulers, armies, etc., of centuries past but to me, it's at epidemic level today through-out the world.

I don't think many can see the seriousness of it all like those of us who were born back in the 1940's and raised during the 50's. The evil today is so foreign to me.

What is also bad, but pales in comparison to her message and lyrics, is the fact that she has even less talent for singing than I do.

What should be more stunning to us is the levels of unChristlike behavior continuing to be displayed by the CHURCH.

    Lost people act lost.

if My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chr. 7:14

    The principle STILL holds true.

Because of OUR increase in wickedness, the wickedness of the world is increasing.

Attitude, Zack. Attitude. Our pastor commented a while back that we are born into sin. At which time this woman with a six month old child was torn right out of the pew. We 'hain't seen her since. I used to attend a SB Church where the business meetings were like battle zones.

...people are so desperate. So in need of recognition.

We are a praise-less deficient nation. From our kids right on up to the Lord.

    Great post

The reason the church is not seeing the problems, as you have described is due to the frog in the pot of water syndrome!

If you toss that old bullfrog into a boiling pot of water on topthe stove, that old boy will jump from the water like his life is depending on it [of course his life is depending on his escape].

BUT, take that same old bullfrog and toss him in a pot of water that is room temperature, and then turn on the burnes below the pot, that frog will have a swimmingly good time until he is too far cooked escape for his life!

The world, and I hate to say this, but the church is like that frog, we've been slowly indoctrinated by the ever increasing evil around us and we are getting to the place where we can't see how bad it really is!

This is why we have prophets, and while they may have no honor in their own land, the only hope for the church is to listen to their voice of conviction when it begins to sound off!

Its not as if the folks in the church are about to loose their salvation for becoming assimilated by the condition of the world around them. They are saved and always will be. But their rewards will be less in heaven, and they will, as Ricky Ricardo used to say to Lucy, "You have some 'splainin' to do!" :type:

This is why many believers can partake of the things of this world and no longer see it as breaking the hold of Holiness within them. Now, I'm not going to name sins or fleshly vices, because I believe the folks in the church know what God has convited them of, and that they decided on their own rationalizing, that it is okay to do, so long as it is in moderation or not hurting anyone else!

Same here. That was so incredibly bad that had I dog it would have been howling for me to stop playing the video, which I did do after about 30 seconds.

The article says that the song is from her 7th album; if she sounds like that on the other six it's a wonder she's sold any albums at all.

We're not along. There's a music blogger named Jorge Farah who raves about the nuances and "meaning" behind her songs, including this idiotic tome featured on "Late Late Show" -- all very professional and analytical until he says:
He makes these over-the-top pronouncements about the "power" of her message, but admits he will have to read the lyrics before he really know what they say?

    The pretentiousness of fools underwhelms.

He has no idea what she said, or if she's even got any talent -- which, as is obvious to all of us, she has zilch.

Same bible asks the people of God to point out the sins of the land, or else they will die in their sins, correct?
