    1. Putin re-opened an old Soviet base in Cuba. He wrote off 32 billion dollars in debt that the Castros owe Russia.

    2. Libertarians are calling for an end to the boycott of Cuba:

    3. It was the Russians, not Kennedy, who withdrew the missiles from Cuba--according to Khrushchev's son.

According to the democrats and republicans the answer to every foreign policy initiative is to demonize, isolate, sanction and kill and kill and kill and kill.

    Examine their fruits carefully folks.

Che, Fidel, and Raul demonize themselves, but it is touching to see that the Libertarians are for ending the embargo of Cuba.

Wow, you really got it in for the libertarians now that you've joined up with team Obama doncha?

Why are you so worried about what the libertarians are doing anyway? Aren't you the one who's always claiming they're just a bunch of losers with no political power?

You seem to be fixated on them lately, why is that? Could it be fear? Fear that they're message of individual liberty and a sane foreign policy might be winning more hearts and minds than your warmongering neocon's message of demonize, isolate, sanction, destabilize, divide and kill and kill and kill and kill?

Yeah, that might just be it. Fear!

So this is like stage one in the process then, demonization right?

I think that the Libertarians are joined up with Obama on lifting the embargo on Cuba--at least they are joined up with David Rockefeller and the Council on Foreign Relations on lifting the embargo on Cuba.

LIbertarians have gotten to where they support communist and terrorist states. And of course they are ignoring the current new cold war with Russian we are in.

Help me out here fellas I can't figure this out.

    http://www.infowars.com/keith-olbermann-trash-talks-drudge-infowars-in-bizarre-twitter-rant/

Are you guys stealing Keith Olbermann's material or is he stealing your's?

Either of you guys find that proof I've been asking you to prrovide for us for what, the last week now?

Strangely enough y'all went silent about your claims and moved directly into the demonization process right after I asked you for it. Hmmm, wonder why?

Would you classify that as misdirection or obfuscation or a combination of both?

I'd say, "This puts it to rest," but we all know the OP won't let go of his hair-brained Libertarian support of a wannabe-Soviet emperor.
So, let the irrational denials begin:

    "Ukraine obviously forged the evidence."

"Reuters is obviously part of the conspiracy of corporatists lackies who publish anything their masters tell them to."

"Russia didn't do it ... No, wait ... Russia had no direct involvement."

    The disingenuousness never stops.

No, I thought it up all on my own.

Strange as it might seem to a few here some of us are still able do our own thinking.

You keep saying that long enough you might even believe it Rev. It's not hard to figure out that a communist or terrorist in your eyes is anyone that still believe's in individual liberty and points out the neocon's lies, which they make very easy BTW.

Largely because of guys like you, CMG and TND that parrot whatever your "credible news sources" say without question or evidence to back it up.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=mh%2017%20may%20have%20been%20a%20mistake&404handler=true&gws_rd=ssl#q=mh17+may+have+been+a+mistake&spell=1

Looks like your "credible news sources" are having to back off their claims for the lack of evidence. You going to follow suit now or do your little disappearing act again?

The Libertarians probably are in cahoots with David Rockefeller et al on more than just ending the embargo on Cuba. Politics does make strange bedfellows.

Opening up trade with a country is not equal to supporting their government, fer cryin' out loud.

Economic sanctions hurt the population, not the government.

Sadly, you are wrong. Cuba is a Stalinist state aligned with Iran, China, and Russia. Putin just re-opened an old Soviet base there, as linked above.

There is no shortage of goods in Cuba. David Rockefeller and the others think that they can make money there, evidently, and the Libertarians have joined in.

The tourist sector is well-stocked and comfortable. The rest of Cuba looks like Detroit, only not so good.

It is not known how many people the Castros have murdered. They have defaulted on all of their loans and recently forced Putin to write off $32 billion. They get subsidies from Venezuela, herself in a state of domestic economic collapse. They ripped off Mexico and even their dear friends in South Africa.

Fidel is a rock star like Obama in this country in spite of his blatant racism. Fidel made racial slurs about Batista because Batista was part Black--Fidel afterall is upper class by birth and privilege, from one of the richest families ever in Cuba.

It is well-documented that Afro-Cubans are largely in prison and may have suffered the greatest number of murders by the Castros. The Ladies in White, largely Afro-Cuban, are a particular target of the Castros for murder and beating because they walk silently around central plazas in provincial towns after mass on Sundays while carrying flowers and dressed in whatever white clothing that they have.

Under Castro, Cuba went from being the richest nation in Latin America to be the poorest--even poorer than Haiti.

We have military bases all over the world.

Yup. I think it's ridiculous that I used to have to go to Tijuana to buy nice Cuban Cigars.

I know that. The government of Cuba is rife with horrible people.

Sounds like they're running out of friends.

He's a rock star among the stupid. Only someone who has never lived under him could love him.

    Got it. Cuba sucks.

Why should we not trade with businesses and people, there ? Do we hold all the countries we now trade with to the same standards as Cuba ?

I think that Obama is afraid of losing Florida due to the Cuban vote there and that the Democrats won't act.

Cuba produces very little anymore. People who have been there say that the sugar industry is gone. Of course, tourism is gone also. I don't know what they have to trade.

I guess that the leftists want the USA to underwrite loans to Cuba so that the taxpayers in effect would be buying the goods and giving them to the Castros. I can't imagine why the Libertarians think that they can make money in Cuba.

We don't trade with a lot of countries. We don't do much business with Iran, who is very interested in military bases in Latin America. Venezuela was the focus of interest by Iran and China until the death of Chavez. It is hoped that Cuba will be free again with the death of the Castros. There is an axis against the USA of Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Cuba, and Ecuador (they have the most charismatic President with the death of Chavez and the old age of the Castros).

There are people in Cuba with money. Elian Gonzalez' dad was well-off.

Actually, a lot of Americans travel to Iran to ski the mountains, which I hear are great.
And these governments are great at turning our sanctions into political weapons.

Elian Gonzalez's dad is a commie and now Elian is in the Cuban commie youth movement.

Apparently the Libertarians do not believe that the military threat from a Latin America aligned with Islamofascism is a serious problem. At any rate, it is amusing to see the Libertarians aligned with the Wall Street bankers but then politics makes strange bedfellows.

    As Fontava pointed out:

Alas, an extremely well-funded campaign to include us among P.T Barnum’s cherished customers (i.e. lift the Cuba embargo) is building steam in Washington. Fascinatingly, “libertarians”– those self-described defenders of the U.S. taxpayer, those self-described champions of American sovereignty and pocket books against snooty, sneaky and predatory supranational cabals and elites—these very libertarians now serve as an echo-chamber for David Rockefeller’s Council on Foreign Relations and George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, along with The Trilateral Commission , the Davos Groups, the United Nations, The Arca Foundation, former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker, The Ford Foundation, a KGB Lieut Colonel, The Brookings Institute, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Piece (founded by Soviet spy Alger Hiss.)

Today’s “libertarians” march arm in arm chanting the anti-Cuba embargo mantra in perfect rhyme and cadence with every socialist elitist and every secretive supranational outfit mentioned above. Bedfellows don’t get much stranger.

A lot of the tourism to Cuba is sex tourism.

The hurting of people because of embargo is the fault of that people's governemnt. If they would stop misbehaving the embargo would end.

It is not the fault of the rest of the world.
