How will you evangelize this weekend?

    Big holiday weekend coming up. How will you be out witnessing? Let the thread know your methods and message. For me I plan to pass out tracts, and strive for conversations with people however we won't go to DT denver just to the beautiful Colorado mountains and to a mountain town.

    I usually pass out tracts using the 10 commandments but recently have acquired a number of hell based tracts which are great for proud people. I also have a apologetics booklet with evidences for biblical creation that I use sometimes to defend God and the Bible. Many these days do not believe in the Bible and have a naturalism worldview so evidence based booklets can get people thinking... However it's the Bible and the Holy Spirit that can convict. Apologetics is the bait as comfort said once.

    DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A CAL VS ARMIN DEBATE.

    I haven't had a day off since the 4th of July. I was planning on taking the grandson fishing. I realize how unspiritual that sounds but a guy needs a break now and again.

    I planing sitting in a pub, having a few Guinness,have a cheddar burger with Fry's & talk to people.I usually ask how God is working in those peoples livesl I rely on God to bring them in.... a pubs a really good place to meet the lost of all stripes:thumbs:

    On Thursday, Mrs Salty and I will be taking a rail/cruise trip on the Old Forge Lake Crusie!

    We are both on Vacation this week. Nice not having to go to work for an entire week.

    We do have to drive about an hour to the train station in Utica - then a two hour train trip - a two hour boat trip, return via two hour train trip - stop off for supper and then a hour trip home - and wake up late on Friday!

    I will reply to this thread tomorrow. Was at church and had a chat with a discouraged brother whom does not like rejection in witnessing and I was showing him In the Bible the doctrine of election, the effectual call of the spirit, and from Jesus how the world will hate the elect. Although I could not remember the passage from the sermon on the mount when Jesus says it's a blessing when men reject you because of Christ. This brother was listening and is open to reading which is good.

    Bring lots of gospel tracts, your Bible, some gospels and try and get into chats with people about eternity.

    Not sure of my plans, maybe buy a new car, finally got my Home Equity loan approved. But I will always be ready to give an answer of the hope that lives within me. I usually ask for God to place people in my path and then ask Him to make me bold.

    Ah ha....see that s where we differ. You stress eternity while I stress how Gods working in lives right now. I wonder if you understand the subtle difference?

    Yes I do because people without Christ are headed to Hell unless they repent. You avoid this topic in your disobedience and show your lack of love for others.
