Jim Jones, Rev Sun Yung Moon and Applewhite come to mind. Jones, Applewhite and his followers went into the land of no return. What ever happened to Moon and the Moonies? I'm glad I'm following Jesus and not some crackpot!

One of his captains is a major leader at Liberty U...one of my alma maters.

Cults are terrible things. The more clarity we can preach and teach the better equipped our people are to handle them. :)

the nut has been around for a while.
I wonder how the reporter felt when she was told, eyes unblinking, that she was face to face with Jesus Christ.
Or maybe she's just as much mush-brained as those who worship this guy.

on another note, at least he's well-groomed.
you guys should go to the Philippines and meet the other "Jesus Christ's" over there.
Wild-eyed, bushy-haired (sometimes), full bearded, wearing unwashed clothes not unlike the ones you would see worn by the statues in a Roman Catholic church, yellow teeth, body odor, dirty fingernails, flip-flops, dirty feet.
    lol.

somebody should tell this guy he should go to the Middle East and confront ISIS and that'll be the ultimate test for his followers - when the muslims start to cut his head off his neck, and, lo and behold, the blade becomes a rose.
    lol.
    really crazy.

The sad thing? He's dragging thousands to hell with him and has no shame about it. Hard to believe that so many buy into this garbage.
