Word of Faith. Heresy or False doctrine?

    I believe WOF prosperity churches are the modern Judas's of our day. Many of their churches list the essentials of the faith and the gospel, yet preach a message of fulfillment. Jesus referred to these type as false and we know Judas did not love Jesus but only loved what he could get. Many that followed him where the same and turned their back on him when he made a hard saying in the gospel of John.

    I am usually not fire and brimstone with these types of churches and try and persuade them. The Progressives, and New Age type churches (Unity, Religious Science) are more openly heretical but perhaps WOF churches are the bigger heretics. What do you say?

    Heritics and the worse kind because they sneak in using all the right language but with a totally different definition.

    I discovered a out of print gospel tract with a picture of satan or a skull like figure on the front and inside lots of condemning words and verses about the false teachers. A perfect tract for a false church! I have a few left and mailed one off to a Universalist church and not to a word of faith church.

    But yes they are deceiving many here in Denver and have lots of churches.

    Wof Teach that Jesus died as a sinner, had to get born again in Hell, that we once saved are just as much an incarnation of God as he was, and that his main difference was that he knew and used tje "spiritual laws of the Kingdom"

    Different jesus, different Gospel!
